Jennifer Gallas is amazing. I've had nothing but wonderful experiences here. Was friendly and they took the time to listen to my concerns.

No one answers the phone, it seems they communicate by text messages only, and use a third-party billing company. It becomes frustrating when there is a billing issue and cannot get through to the office other than by text. Should not be this difficult to address issues. read more

Dr Barry Glasser is heartless. i took my dad there a few weeks ago he wasn't feeling good . Glasses the first thing he said when he went in the room was , your father likes to talk a lot I don't have a lot of time. didn't hel him at all even tho my father was so weak and yellow. I took him to the emergency room , his hemoglobin was 2. all the Drs said he should of been dead . 10 bags of blood later. that man needs to learn bed manners . he is totally heartless . he should retired already . i am glad I took my dad to the hospital or he would of died . a hemoglo of 2 is deadly . read more

I have been going to Medical One for MANY more years than I can remember! The staff has always been caring and concerned. Dr. Glasser, in my estimation is one of the BEST Doctors in this area. I always say "he knows everything about everything"! I am an 80 yr. old, retired nurse with complicated medical history and he always listens and remembers my history. If you don't have an appointment you'll wait the rest of your natural born life to see a doctor or physicians assistant. Would have done better going to a hospital for the amount of time we spent here. Not a good experience. -Unsatisfied Patron read more

Tha care that my mother and I have received at Medical One has been excellent. My elderly mother has seen Dr Glasser numerous times and he has been very thorough and responsive to her needs. She is not a full time resident in Brigantine. I have seen 2 OT 3 of the nurse practitioners and have been satisfied each time. My only dissatisfaction is the wait time even with an appointment. I have never been able to see a doctor but so happen to really like nurse practitioners. The waiting room is rather dirty but exam rooms are fine. I sometimes feel I am at a clinic when I go there. read more

Excellent practice, I typically see Glasser, out of randomness, but I also have no problem seeing Dr. Dunn - partners. NOTE-- They do take walk ins BUT make an appt. if you can, much quicker, I didn't read all the neg. reviews. Ive been going to medical one for apx 10 yrs with a break in between, If you are going for the suboxone / pain management, just be honest, they get it. The worst thing you can do is lie to Glasser, he understands..havaing to do w/ addiction etc.. but when you're stable, open up to him / them. Staff is so sweet theyre great. I got very lucky finding them. Haha, I just looked over at Jayel S.'s comment with 2 stars, and shes said , because she didnt make an appt. THATS 2 stars? Thats a random comment/ advice . Yeah this is why I dont review a lot. But I owe it to these guys, the entire staff, AND seven DAYS A week. AND they take medicair etc. if needed. They know their stuff. Be honest, and I guarantee Glasser will work with w.e. you may need. I am just saying his name because I see him a lot more , like I said its random, I like them equally really. Very thorough. We ended up at Medical One with a possible ear infection, after a long day of swimming at the beach. I read the reviews and decided to give it a try. We were here on vacation, so we really didn't have any experience with local practitioners. We showed up without an appointment and ended up being treated and discharged in less than 20 minutes (paperwork took an extra 10 minutes). The best part was the pharmacy (Rite Aid) was adjacent to the facility and they simply emailed the prescription next door and it was ready in 10 minutes!!! The staff was professional and attentive throughout the process. The treating physician was was very down to Earth and preferred to addressed by his first (when was the last time you heard a doctor say, "Please call me...." That's the attitude at this facility, so don't be surprised about the down to Earth attitude. I'm not sure if that's a product of the leadership or the fact it's located in a beach town. Based on the size of the facility, it looks like it could be a busy at times, but we were there at an "off time". If I had it to do over again I would make an appointment, but I think we just got lucky. Again, the staff was awesome from the time we checked in until we picked up our prescription... read more

If I could give no stars I would! I went in feeling very dizzy and sick. They said nothing was wrong with me and sent me for blood work... Feeling anxious about what was wrong with me I called them the second the results were sent to them and they said they couldn't read the results over the phone and I would have to do a walk in. So you're telling me you charge me for not finding anything wrong with me and then when I ask for my results you want me to come in again and charge me... What a scam! Plus all staff were very rude and cold in person and over the phone. I will never go back! read more

I have been going there for 29 years. It is by far the worst run doctors office I have ever been to. They refuse to take fax refills from the pharmacy Rite Aid right next door and make you schedule another appointment so they can get your money again. They never pick up the phone. You call the refill extension, and get a voice mail. They don't call back after repeated calls for refills to that department after 4 days. One a recent occasion they called back 4 hours later and say they will fill the prescription. They didn't call it in to the pharmacy and when you go back to the office and tell them they already approved the medication from the refill department they refuse to acknowledge that they did. Pretty much calling you a liar. They want you to schedule another appointment so they can get your money. What a scam. read more

I have been going to Medical One for 17 years or more. It has a bad rep because sometimes people have had run ins with the office staff. I admit I have had a shouting match with one of the girls at the front desk several years back and it wasn't pretty. But I like this place because it is open 7 days a week and well into the evening. It's like if urgent care were your primary care MD and knew you very well. For that reason I stick with them. If you are nice to the staff in front they'll help you if you piss them off forget about. I have seen Dr. Dunn who is pretty good once the whole time I've been a patient and Dr. Glasser who also is very good maybe twice but the rest of the time I've seen PAs and or NPs which were good and very thorough. If you want to see the MD every time then you may have An issue with going here but that doesn't bother me. The group of practitioners know me and they have helped me several times. I don't like the bash session going on in these reviews. read more

Worst Dr. office visit ever. There wasn't even a Dr. on site. I had to see a rookie nurse practitioner who didn't quite know enough to be left alone. I am a male, whole had a personal problem I was dealing with. The all female staff had smirks on their faces, as one of the employees told my problem around the office. I spent over $100 for nothing at this place. To make matters worst, when I got to the pharmacist she only sent one prescription instead of two. And the prescription she sent wasn't even the right one. I would not recommend these insensitive unprofessional people to any human being, especially one with feelings. These people suck!!! read more
