The process to book an appointment was quick and efficient and they send e-mail confirmations for the appointments which is a nice touch. The office itself is clean, bright and spacious. I arrived at my appointment 15 minutes early. The staff all seemed nice and friendly. The osteopath I was scheduled with, Jean-Luc, seemed to be running late and called my name 15 minutes after the start of my appointment. That was not very pleasant for me because I was in so much pain I could not sit so half an hour of standing while waiting didn't help. I understand that there can sometimes be appointments that run over their time which would have been fine with me but what irked me is when the osteopath introduced himself, he was the guy that was in the waiting room chatting with his family members the whole time I was waiting. The actual treatment time was great, he was thorough and really listened to where my pain was and worked on those areas however for $120/session to be kept waiting like that for a personal conversation, no thanks, not coming back.

I wish it was easier to find the office but thankfully I found it just took me a little longer to get to it so plan accordingly if you think of booking your appointment at this location. *Location*: It's actually located in Gallery Kirkland on Blvd., Saint Charles and to be honest with you it was a pretty hard time finding the building as it's in a large building on the 2nd floor with numerous other business'. *Cleanliness* The locale was simple and clean and very small too nothing to add about the cleanliness... as it's not that hard to clean a tiny space lol. *Service*: It was all right I mean the lady at the reception was doing her job by giving me a form to fill out since it was my first time and had to open an account. She wasn't very talkative and just assigned me things to do before I got to see Mrs Liu Mrs Liu was very sweet and friendly she took great care of me but I don't really think she's as experienced as other people who specialize in acupuncture. She did her best with what she knew and treated the pain directly where it was bothering me. Unfortunately, the pain still remained..it wasn't all her fault because she really really made sure she did her best and tried very hard to relieve my pain. I would suggest to her that she gains a little bit more experience over time. She was a great overall .. Im use to seeing a different guy but he wasn't available the day I tried her. *Cost*: 85$ the first acupuncture session and then 70$ for next visits *Wait Times*: They honoured my appointment and was pretty happy about that !! The practitioner who treated me was disappointing on many levels. He did not do a proper assessment of the situation, rather he immediately jumped to the conclusion that my acute injury whuch occurred over the weekend was the result of poor workplace ergonomics based simply on the fact that I have a desk job and don't have a standing desk. Never mind that I adjusted my desk with a consultation by a professional ergotherapist - I spent 90 min here being preached to about the virtues of standing desks (even though I have a foot problem and have been advised not to use one), with no real treatment of my acute issue itself other than squeezing the limb for several minutes so it would "relax". The next day in addition to the joint issue, now the surrounding muscles are inflamed and sore. I do want to point out that I understand the modality of osteopathy and the fact that sometimes a subtle event can be the straw that breaks the camel's back. However that's not a license for lazy diagnosis. This particular practitioner was a poor listener and pushy and I did not feel like he was listening or trying to properly understand the situation. What he described did not match the pattern of onset of my pain or symptoms. There is something more acute going on and now I am going elsewhere to get an x-ray and a proper diagnosis. I will finally add that the practitioner kept touching and moving his mask during the treatment then putting his bare hands on my neck and shoulders without sanitizing them. This clinic needs better hiring and training processes.
