Excellent spot for Saturday carnitas located inside Mercado Medellín. The staff here is extremely friendly - offering us a generous slab of meat to sample when we walked by. According to the internet, they only offer their carnitas on Saturday. To be honest, I'm only 98% confident I tried their carnitas but whatever meat I had was delicious. The butcher who gave us the initial sample spoke English and showed us the different cuts of meat - ribs, stomach, maciza (plain loin). We went for maciza and stomach, and the stomach was just outstanding. Super juicy and tender and glistening with fat, and honestly chopped up in taco form I wouldn't have been able to tell it was stomach.
