This is another "Asian restaurant," the likes of which can be found all over Germany. For the most part, the focus is on fast and inexpensive Asian fare - and the term "Asian" can mean a whole lot in Germany. Where I am from, there's quite the distinction between Tibetan, Vietnamese, and Thai food - never mind the many other Asian cuisines. In Germany, it's all "Asian" - so be aware. This particular place is rather hidden and I simply stumbled upon it because there was a burger and beer place that initially attracted me. I sat outside and it was perfectly pleasant albeit not exactly scenic. The wait staff consisted of one young boy and after I listed to him at the neighboring table, I asked him what was easier for him, English or German (I speak both fluently). He opted for English - and I'm only saying this because sometimes non-German speakers can be intimidated when they think that German is the only way to go... Just ask, you never know. Oh, and he was also exceptionally friendly. Shy, too. Food came out quickly and was nicely put together, both in presentation and taste. You should be aware that culinary preferences are almost nowhere as universally pronounced as they are with "Asian" fare - there's a definitive difference between say, Thai food in Thailand, the US, Germany, or Argentina. With that in mind, understand that your "Asian" food will never taste like it does back home. To me, it's fine - I know it caters to the German palate but I find that it does so in acceptable parameters. Go knock yourself out and support this little restaurant.

We ordered Tom Ka Gai and Gai Ka Prow (chicken coconut soup and basil chicken with rice). The soup was on the mild side, so I asked for some condiments. My German isn't the best, but we got some hot peppers in fish sauce. That added another layer of flavor, but it was still a bit salty for my taste. The main course was kind of bland, as well, although spicy. It needed more sweetness. The service was good. I visited the restroom and found it to be clean and in good working order, although the towel dispenser was empty. There was a roll of paper towels above it to compensate. All in all, try to get more condiments. Food is acceptable (my cousin loved it), but not quite "right".
