The place is huge, and, I must say, pretty well decorated. Such a large area could have looked like a canteen, but they did a pretty good job. It is not luxurious, but it looks good. They also have a large terrace for the summer days (both the restaurant and the terrace are on the 1st floor). Unfortunately, once again, the humongous buffet area lies in the middle. That's not nice. Experience. We went on a very crowded evening, I am fine with that (it's a good sign). But overall, because - again - of the buffet, this was a pretty bad experience. People running all over the place, queuing or moving to and from the food stands. The personnel was careless at best, stressed (and stressful) for the most part. Sub-standard, even for an Asian restaurant. I am willing to believe they do a better job when the restaurant is quieter though. This is just another undetermined vaguely Asian restaurant in Regensburg. It's nothing more, nothing less. Why the 2 stars? Because the food was ok. There is nothing much better around, so sadly, I may visit again.

Pretty wide selection of a variety of Asian dishes including curries and soups on the menu but wanted sushi. Ordered an initial appetizer of the potato wrapped shrimp and it did not disappoint, well actually nothing did. The passion fruit drink was delicious and the sushi rice actually had the correct flavor to it. Not just plain. Which is not always the case. Very satisfied overall and the presentation was well done with some added "smoke" for a more dramatic entry. The waitress even added additional so I could get a better photo. I will be returning.

I have tried several other "Asian cuisine" spots in the Graf/Vilseck area, and for some reason had slightly higher expectations than what I should have had. The matter of fact is that Asian cuisine adapts to the local taste palette wherever it decides to entrench itself in. Therefore, your typical "chinese" General Tso's dish will be different in New York City, compared to Germany, compared to China - in fact, they might as well be completely different dishes because of the chef's adaptation of that plate toward the accustomed taste palette. For those of you that know me personally and follow me on Yelp, my all time favorite food is Pho. I feel like I don't need to explain what Pho is because it has become so popular back in the states. The picture seemed to depict how pho should "naturally look." When it was served, it was quiet different and I immediately knew it was not going to taste like what I am use to. All the "accouturements" such as your mint/basil leaves and bean sprouts were already in the soup instead of it being on the side. The meal was served with lemon, which I don't mind, but I am more inclined and use to line instead. There was also sliced chili peppers in the soup, which gave the soup an overpowering spicy note that seemed to drown out the taste of the broth. So bottom line is that it was ok, and again, I held higher expectations than I should have. I miss my Pho - need to go back to a Pho Bang in NYC or Pho To Long in Santa Clara. I may venture back to try something else, or if I'm really desperate, I may have their Pho again. For now I will stick to my Shin Ramyun Ramen packets from the Commissary. Cheers!

During my Sai Nam binge, I had a curry dish, pad thai with chicken, pad thai with vegetables, spring rolls, and the iced tea. Every single item was absolutely amazing. I got my food to go each time. Even though I didn't call ahead to place the order (I was nervous about not speaking German, however that was silly as all of the staff I encountered spoke beautiful English), I was always in and out in under 15 minutes. Add to all of this how super affordable everything is (all entrees under €10, apps under €5), and you have my new favorite restaurant in Germany!
