My experience with hometown lenders has been rough. Kathy…read moreClay is scatter brained and caused myself and family a lot of grief. I was given a list of documents I needed to send to her. I sent in all the information and she told me to shop for a house. I found a house, and couldnt submit an offer because Kathy needed more documents. I sent in documents. She still did not send information needed to my agent. I had to put in a notice to my apartment complex in order to move. After I got the contract on my home, and put in my notice, Kathy wants information on my down payment, The broker offers her documents, and they are not what she needs. We approve what she needs, and Kathy says they still are not what she needs. We call the broker, and they fax her what she said she needs, and it still is not what Kathy wanted. Kathy sent me a text saying she was withdrawing my loan, without notice. I was unable to respond. Now I have to move and I lost my house. I dont think hometown lenders was the problem. I think Mrs. Clay was the problem. Too disorganized and very unprofessional.
