REAL REVIEW Do not let the old school building & location fool you. This business knows what they're doing and do it good. They stood on business and kept their promise just make sure you do YOUR part. They can't hold your hand. Don't be afraid to use them for your bail bonds company. read more

As good of an experience that you can get if you need their services. Very friendly and professional.

Was recommended by my attorney but I am telling them to no longer recommend. I must have called 5 times and left messages. Did no hear back for 24 hours so used someone else. And it wasn't even that late in the day that i called. The first call was before 5 pm, but no answer and no return call until late the next day. read more

I needed a Bailbonds agent that would listen to my situation and get me that help I needed fast!! John McRae gave me directions and got me through a very difficult and emotional situation. Other agents I called first treated me like a number and never came through with the assistance they promised. I wasted time waiting for other agents who completely forgot I had called or didn't take my calls at all. Do yourself a favor. Start by calling McRae Bailbonds first!! read more

John McRae and team helped me every step of the way in helping me reach bail. The process was easy and stress free, a simple appointment over the phone. Upon arrival we were warmly greeted and received clear instructions on what forms to fill out to insure everything was correct. Thank you guys for helping me and my family out. read more

John McRae and Irma are absolutely amazing! My wife got caught up in a Bull$*** situation. John and Irma got in contact with us and helped us through the most trying time in our life. To make a long story short John contacted my wife and walked her through every step of the bail process. He made sure my wife never even saw jail time. John and Irma do everything for you from checking up ur warrant status and setting bail for you before you even see a judge or have contact with the police. We made an initial $250 payment to basically retain the bonds company. Then immediately John and Irma did there investigating to see what my wife's bond would be and informed us within 2 hours of everything we needed to do. Upon fulfilling all requirements of the bond paperwork we were able to take my wife to the satellite office at the SAT courthouse and they told us she would be released within 3 hours. Much to our surprise she was out in 2 hours and 33 minutes. There was even a hiccup on my wife's paperwork and John himself made it to the satellite office within 15-20 minutes to correct the paperwork. This is an amazing Bailbonds Duo! They led us down the correct path and they kept in contact with us through every step they made to ensure my wife stays free as we fight her case! Kudos too the McRae team for everything. Everything they said would happened exactly the way they said it would. They won't tell you to turn yourself in until everything is squared away and they also made a promise that if my wife couldn't make bail we would get all of our money back. Thank you John and Thank you Irma. Y'all are amazing and no offense I hope we never need you again but if we ever do y'all will be the only people we ever call!!!! read more

Okay, so I have been known to make some mistakes and one of those famously poor choices landed me, several years after the fact, in some legal troubles. Mind you, I've done nothing wrong as will be proven in court, thankfully, but I still had to get walked through the Bexar County Detention Center. A less than stellar experience, with one shining moment I'd like to share. I met Mr. John McCrea of McRae Bail Bonds. He got me through the process with a minimal down payment, in a few brief hours. He quickly cut through the red tape, after hours no less, and had me back in my long suffering husbands arms in no time flat. He was effective, personable, professional and really worked with us on the financial end. This guy really knows his way around those beaurocratic barriers and handled my spot of trouble like a skilled surgeon. I stand in grateful and humbled respect of his handling of my case. His assistant at the office is sweet and helpful and highly efficient. All in all it was a great example of doing through job right. I would, without reservation, highly recommend this firm to anyone facing our legal system from the other side of the bars. read more
