Owners Rob and Mike are the BEST! All the positive things stated about them in other reviews is true: professional, knowledgeable, communicative, honest, courteous, thorough, clean, etc. Rob and Mike have been to my condo several times to complete dozens of handyman and painting chores, from big to small. I don't know if Rob and Mike were ever in the Boy Scouts, but they certainly follow the Boy Scout Code of Conduct! They've brought happiness to an old man knowing that I can rely on Reliance Home Services whenever I need quality work done at my home!

I had have 10 Andersen windows installed previously, some Woodwright which I stained and some 400…read moreseries which I painted to match woodwork. All replacement. Matera installed some of them. Salesman this time upsold me new construction windows and I was leaving in a few days for a month so I wanted ot get them ordered. I painted them prior to installation. The installation was horrific - tiny cracks in the plaster now large requiring patching, pieces of plaster ripped off the wall requiring patching and painting entire walls. But the worst was the excessive and beyond shoddy caulking. I've never seen caulking so poorly done. Matera Bldrs.had completely redone my kitchen 9 years ago and the work, including caulking was excellent. This was appaling. I sent photos to Bob and he tried to defend work he knew was indefensible. He sent someone to try to fix some of the caulk but it was no better and I sent photos to Bob again. My woodwork is a different color then the walls and now there were no right angles, making painting sloppy. Bob and workers acknowledge that I am a good painter but this was impossble. Bob did discount the work some and did eventually apologize but that didn't help what was fairly pristine before the installation. They treated my $13,000 investment casually and carelessly.
