I was feeling pressured to decide paint colors by my remodeling crew, so I found this place & scheduled an immediate consultation. I brought samples of my bath vanity granite, flooring & tile & phone pictures of the whole space. I wanted colors to "flow" from room to room. The designer (Jo Howell) merely confirmed what I had already selected, plus trying to get me to change window treatments & add wallpaper. What suggestions she had for kitchen tile & granite did not improve anything. (In fact, she wanted to know where I got my LVP flooring & bath granite!) She didn't even know what the "light reflective value" score meant, on the paint chip, & had to ask someone else. (the REAL decorator, perhaps?!) All this for $180 ($120/hr-- I only stayed an hour) I felt I was taken advantage of, despite her "nice" demeanor. If you are relocating to Wilmington, you might want to avoid this place.

Puroclean of Wilmington, the remediation company that mitigated the water damage with impeccable results, introduced The Grand Scheme LLC to me to replace my flooring. Their suggestion to work with Natalie Rhodes yielded an excellent result. Natalie, the owner, is meticulous. She does her homework down to the exact detail. My home is on the third floor. The subflooring under the original tile was cork and gypsum concrete. Natalie investigated and found a product that not only has the highest level of impact sound reduction it also has a bonded crack prevention system and will not shrink or absorb water. The replacement flooring I chose was a large format porcelain tile. This made the placement of the tile a challenge since we were working with some tight spaces. With her experienced professionals they made it look absolutely beautiful. They are clean, punctual, detailed, and precise. They deliver exactly what they promise which is very rare.
