History
Established in 1991.
McInerney Solicitors was established by the late Jarlath McInerney in 1991 as a General Legal Practice, offering advice in all areas of law. The practice has expanded over the years and has a reputation for a personal and professional service. That ethos of doing our genuine best for each client and ensuring the best possible outcome in each case is very important to McInerney Solicitors.
Jenny Prendergast, one of the Partners, has worked in the practice since 1993, and Colin Lynch, the other Partner joined the Practice in 2010, having previously practiced as a Barrister, and as Colin Lynch Solicitors.
Shane Sheridan and Ciara O' Callaghan are Associate Solicitors, specialising in litigation and conveyancing and probate respectively

Meet the Business Owner: Colin L.
Colin Lynch
Partner/ Solicitor
Colin is a qualified Barrister and Solicitor. He commenced practice in 1999 and has represented clients at all court levels from District through to High Court. Colin has a wide range of interests and in particular enjoys the areas of Immigration and Crime. Colin has successfully challenged various Ministerial decisions in the High Court by way of Judicial Review.
Colin practiced as a Barrister for many years, both in Dublin and in the West of Ireland, before retraining and setting up Colin Lynch Solicitors.
Colin advises persons in custody and attends Garda Stations and Prisons where required. Colin has a keen interest in Human Rights and promoting access to justice. He is a volunteer lawyer to Galway's Free Legal Advice Centre (FLAC).
