I'm writing this review because, I want to share my experience with someone who is in need of a lawyer, first of all this firm has the best attorney, They are the best on what they do. But they are also the best attorneys because they are kind people, they put your interest and integrity first, they have the most amazing team, I personally work with Ana Vargas , Viviana Viviana Saldana and the attorney Denish Mandalia , they are the best , they were soooo caring compassionate, I never had to call them because, they always called me to check on how I was doing, to keep me informed to make sure I was being treated by the beds doctors, they worked every step of the way hand on hand through my difficult times and I can tell you that if you want someone to help you to treat you respectfully and someone who is going fight for you, this is your team. I'm so grateful for your support and understanding and all your hard work, I will always remember you . Thank you so much for being there when I needed you, for having my back on a very important and scary time in my life. Forever grateful marina . read more

After being rearended at a stoplight early last year, I've been dealing with a myriad of health issues related to the accident that upended my normal life. Yet, despite it being a no-fault accident on my end, I continued to be hounded by the other driver's insurance to submit my (still ongoing) medical bills so that they could close my case, often withholding the detail that I legally had much more time to submit them. As I entered my 5th month of rehabilitation (and calls from them), I asked my aunt (a paralegal) if she trusted anyone to take my case and she referred me to McGee and Lerer. It was the right call. Their team (shoutout to Lorena especially!) handled almost everything on my case (aside from a few medical records that I said I could get) and it allowed me to focus on my life and stop getting frequent calls from this other insurance company. They said that it could take up to a year but probably sooner to get a settlement and case closed. But to my surprise, I got to learn in November (3 months!!!) that all was settled and done. I'm still recovering, but the settlement has allowed me to not worry so much about affording my ongoing care and just focus on getting back to 100. Their careful yet expedient treatment of my case is something I've raved to my family about over the holidays and I'm just only getting around to sharing my review but knew they deserve the public praise! read more

Like many others I got into a car accident and didn't know who to turn to but I got lucky. I went on yelp and picked McGee Lerer & Associates. I didn't realize how good they were until I met them. I could tell they were good from the get go. They have 4 different locations which is a good sign. Their staff was always professional and helped you through the entire process. I was always informed of what they were doing. I really couldn't have picked a better firm. Thanks again, Jose Rivera read more

McGee Lerer Ogrin - I got hit from the side and hit my head on the driver's side window. - Personal Injury Law Near Me - Santa Monica, California

It would be impossible for me to fully articulate inside of this yelp review how incredibly grateful I am for Katherine, Dan, and their firm McGee, Lerer, & Associates. They've helped so much!!..literally more in the past 2 days since my first call to their office, than my previous firm has helped in the last 22 months. And here's the kicker for how amazing they really are...I'm not even their client nor are they able to take my case. Still yet, they spent hours on the phone with me these past 2 days to do everything they possibly could to help me understand my case, understand my options, and help however they can. Inside of these last 48 hours since calling their office...I've come to feel so much calmer and safe with my case because Kathy and Dan care so much, listened so attentively, and gave me their absolute thorough and expert guidance. I don't say this lightly, it feels like I'm working with family the way they've taken care of me. Kathy, Dan, and Andrea are clearly in the law business primarily because of their passion for protecting, caring, and helping people. Because they're unable to take my case, Kathy gave me a few firms and lawyers that she felt would maybe be a good fit for me and my situation and indeed one was. She wound up connecting me to a lawyer and firm who's as genuine, forthright, and thorough as she and her firm and very much also an experienced expert. We all hear rather challenging stories when it comes to lawyers and working with them, but I can assure you thing...working with McGee, Lerer, and Associates at any capacity has been a comforting prayer answered and they are incredible in every regard. If you have a potential case, a current case, or just have questions in general and need help...look no further...you can rest assure you are in good, caring, and helping hands with McGee, Lerer, and Associates. Katherine, Dan, and Andrea!!..THANK YOU ALL SO VERY MUCH!!! If I ever have any new law needs, I'm so happy, elated, and grateful to know you're only a phone call away. Thanks again! read more

Nick Ramirez and McGee Lerer & Associates made the process of my injury easy and comprehensible. Nick was with me every step of the way, checking in often. Legal stuff can be scary but I felt supported and trusted that Nick was looking out for my best interest! Would definitely recommend. read more

I worked with Nick Ramirez for several months and had a fantastic experience. Noone wants to deal with the mess that is brought on by someone else's careless actions. A 19 year old girl was texting a driving when she slammed into the back of me on the highway. Within hours I was feeling dizzy and disoriented. My partners mother suggested I reach out to McGee And Lerrer for help and advice and they took car of everything going forward, arranging first appointments, recommending proper doctors and after care professionals, and even now several months after I thought everything was finished, they reached out to me and let me know they were able to get me even more money that would have otherwise had to have been unfairly paid to someone else. Thanks so much for all your help Nick! Can't say enough nice things about you guys! read more

I'm extremely impressed with the patience they had with me and my case, it was a handful to say the least but Catharine and her positive attitude kept me hoping for the best and now I can finally say " Victory is Mine"! I would reccomend them to anyone who is looking for a legit, honest and genuine personal injury defense team. Thanks Guys read more

Catherine Lerer is an amazing, thoughtful, honest and extremely helpful resource and attorney. Highly recommended!!! I contacted her office after doing some research on the Internet on diminished value of our vehicle after an accident. Because the claim would be small and did not involve a personal injury component, and because I am in Fresno, several hundred miles away, Catherine immediately provided me advice and contacts that assisted me in taking care of this myself. In today's day and age it's nice to find someone who is considerate and helpful but more importantly forthright and honest about what they can and cannot do and not just try and take money from someone. It's all about trust and confidence when hiring an attorney and if I were to ever need help again or know of a friend that may need help, Catherine Lerer would be the first place I would send them - she impressed me that much. read more

My experience consulting MGee, Lerer and Associates would definitely cause me to use them again if needed, and to recommend this firm to my family and friends. They are the best! Catherine and Dan, a husband-wife team, practice law with a human face. I had an accident on July 4th out of town. Being in the hospital for 5 days and on medication it wasn't easy for me to make calls and find a good lawyer. When I came across McGee law firm, I was so grateful! It was so easy communicating with them, and also getting paper work done. It's been a little over 5 months and everything is settled. I thought it was going to be a long process and very difficult. But with them it's been so quick and convenient. They're not far from Los Angeles area, and if I couldn't make it in person they were able to do everything over the phone. Their staff was also very helpful and would answer any of my questions! Highly recommend them! Thank you guys! read more

My experience with McGee Lerer & Associates has been exemplary. I was injured when someone opened their car door in front of my bicycle. I looked up a personal injury attorney and met with Catherine Lerer. I was not expecting the fast, personable and pleasant experience I had and was very satisfied with the outcome. On another occasion just lately, I received counsel from her again regarding a small incident - and she gave me good advice with help along the way. I highly recommend McGee Lerer & Associates! read more

Catherine and her legal assistant Kelly were so helpful. I am beyond happy I came to them for help. I was in a 3-car collision accident where both parties dodged calls and insurance claims. The auto body my insurance referred was awful. She helped me get into an amazing body shop that did a flawless job, sent me to a great chiropractor and assessed all my needs. She answered my calls even on afternoons and weekends. Kelly was always available for any questions or concerns. I would highly recommend. They take the stress out of a difficult situation and get you the proper compensation. read more

I would definitely recommend this firm to anyone. Catherine was so patient during this whole ordeal, the other driver's car insurance did want to budge and settle. I had an car accident and was very confused about process . I chose this firm because of yelp . I got the wife of the duo team . 1. Seemed very unempathetic when my husband and I met with her . 2. Did not explain a course of action . 3 . 1 whole week went by and did not even send me to a doctor or speak with my insurance . 4 . Did not return calls . I spoke with a family friend who referred me to another accident attorney , who immediately was all over it and showed me so much kindness and professionalism . I was lost as it was my first accident ever . Word of advice to this woman : don't judge a book by its cover . We are hard working professional latinos Just because my husband looked rough around the edges doesn't mean he is any less important than the man in a suit .He is a transit manager and I am a consultant to which she would have known had she allowed herself to give a shit . . Very disappointed in closed minded people . read more

Where do I start?? Catherine took her time (multiple times) to help me out with a diminished value claim after a drunk driver hit my car doing $14,000 worth of damage. I was very impressed with her professionalism and her friendly demeanor. I HIGHLY recommend McGee Lerer & Associates. Thank you again Catherine! Regards, Stan C. read more

I contacted Catherine Lerer from viewing the many positive reviews she received on Yelp. After having experienced two flakey attorney's prior, it was refreshing to speak with an attorney who personally answered the phone (when she was out of the office) and took over a half hour asking detailed questions and offering stellar hands-on advise. Since my case was comparatively small (no broken bones), she suggested I consider taking on the case myself, and if I wasn't satisfied with the final settlement offer from the insurance company, to then hire an attorney. Catherine nearly spent more time with me than my last attorneys. I wish I would have contacted her first! read more

Catherine Lerer and Dan McGee are the most ethical lawyers I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Every interaction with them and their team was professional, caring, and honest. An injury situation is emotional and can be overwhelming; this law firm will give you the advice you need to get the best possible result. I very much enjoyed my interactions with them! read more

My daughter was hit by a drunk driver in Santa Monica, who then fled the scene. She was badly hurt - orbital fractures, concussion, head injury. An SMC student student at the time, we were worried she would not be able to return to college or ever be the same. My husband and I live out of state, so we needed to find a car accident lawyer in Santa Monica. I found McGee Lerer online and liked their site. I called, and spoke to Daniel McGee as soon as I called in. He was very helpful and compassionate. The firm helped us find doctors for our daughter and they were able to pursue a claim against the drunk driver (who was later found and arrested). The attorneys also made an underinsured motorist claim under our own auto insurance policy. We can't thank them enough for all they did on our daughter's behalf. She will never fully recover, but there is money to pay for the future medical treatment she will need. read more

I was in an automobile accident where my car was totaled, and I received numerous injuries. I found Catherine Lerer on Yelp, so except for the reviews, I had nothing else to go on, but I decided to contact her, and am I glad that I did. Catherine was gracious, understanding, and very easy to talk too. Catherine and her assistant Rachael could not have been more helpful, and could not have made what can be such a difficult process any easier. I can not recommend Mcgee Lerer & Associates more highly. A word to the wise; The man who hit me was uninsured, I have always been cognizant of my liability coverage, but had not checked my uninsured coverage in many years. I had the lowest limits, which greatly affected the amount of money I was able to collect. (Catherine got me the max). I have greatly increased my uninsured coverage since then, but it would have been nice to have increased it before my accident. So make sure to check what your uninsured motorist coverage is, there are a lot of irresponsible uninsured motorists driving around out there. read more
