I arrived at the Saint Clairsville McDonald's around 1145 to pick up a mobile order that my daughter placed for her school lunch. I went into the facility to pick it up. The cashier at the front desk informed me that the payment didn't go through and my daughter sent me proof via screenshot that the payment did go through and she even had an order number and a confirmation so I ended up having to pay for the mobile order so that my daughter could get her food in time before her lunch ended while I disputed the double charge on the mobile order. I also noticed that they forgot to include her double cheeseburger in the order. I'm not satisfied at all with this location. I suggest to others to go elsewhere the service is horrible, and the knowledge of the manager that I dealt with during this dispute was highly lacking. No stars are deserved. read more

The good is the food was fresh and hot. The bad is the floors were very dirty and oily! It made us feel like we were ice skating to the counter from the bathroom. We were seriously afraid of falling. Someone from corporate or management was sitting on the computer in the lobby and saw us. She asked what was the problem. We told her the floor was very slippery and oily. Instead of addressing our concerns she got up to walk across the floor and try to prove us wrong. She slipped too but tried not to let us see. Workers are so god damn incompetent it's not even funny. Went through the drive thru took about 15 minutes to get through the line, didn't have ice didn't have fountain drinks so basically had nothing but that's not the point here. I paid as normal went to the second window waited for a few minutes she came out and told me to pull to the Third window. Was at McDonald's early in the morning and my husband ordered a sausage egg and cheese bagel. First, no one was polite but that's typical at every McDonald's. The main reason for the one star is we drove home about 20 mins away and when we got home to eat he took a bite and the the inside of the bagel was completely burnt and black. This place is always dirty when we stop for breakfast on Saturday mornings. It makes we wonder if it was cleaned the night before. The floors are sticky, the trash is overflowing, the tables are dirty and the refreshment area is always a mess and never stocked. Why do they not have a lobby person working? It takes a lot to get me to write a review for a McDonald's. This place used to be great, now it's terrible. Staff is friendly, but they are either understaffed or under very poor leadership, as drive-thru waits probably average 15 minutes. Perhaps the restive strength of the local economy has made hiring and maintaining high-quality employees difficult, which if correct, I'd say is a good thing. At any rate, stay away.
