How can you go wrong with a Micky-Dee's - but somehow this place went a little astray. My breakfast order one morning came without my ordered potato cake. My coffee order with lots of cream and sugar was handed to me one morning without the bag of cream and sugar (coffee first, then food, then cream and sugar) the key element giving to me asl I was about to leave, so I had no time to mix it in as the cars were pushing in behind me - thus making me try to put together my coffee at 55 MPH as I was racing to work. The reason we go to McDonald's is not because it is a "good" place to eat - it is because it is reliable. You know what you are going to get - and you know how you are going to get it. When things go wrong - or you did through your bag looking for things that you ordered that were left out - it becomes a betrayal of trust. Then you have to look at the place as a real restaurant. Don't go here. I'm sorry..I've been to locations where service might be bad, food forgotten, rude employees, but generally food is still basic McDonalds food..food that is craved for a certain flavor. This location, staff was friendly, had to wait for my food because I was told it was being made and asked to pull into a parking space. Got my food, 5 min away to get home to eat. I've never been so disappointed on what a waste of money this was. The filet of fish, which I haven't had in a long time has shrunk.. Corporate fault. I usually love McDonalds fries, ordered 2 larges..had to throw them away. They tasted like they were 2 days old..not fresh at all. The quarter pounder was ok, the 20 piece nuggets 10 were reluctantly eaten, 3 were shared with the dogs and the rest were thrown away. They also tasted like they were 2 days old and possibly reheated in the microwave, but all the food was cold within 5 min of getting it, so definitely not fresh. I've lived in Phelan for a little over a year and have been reluctant to stop here based on their 2 star reviews..but now I understand why, and 2 stars would have been bearable..but I just couldn't do it. $40 wasted read more

I was in the drive through for approximately 3 minutes with no update on when my order was being taken and I was the only car in the line. I had said exactly, "hello?" In a kind, concerning voice as nothing was being said on the intercom, a young man's. Voice then came over for the first time the whole I was sitting in the drive through and said, "I will be with you in a minute" my friends and I continued to laugh because I was embarrassed and then said young worker came on again and said in a very sassy and rude tone "I don't see what's funny". My friends and I felt very disrespected and uncomfortable as we were not laughing at him, but instead he took a hateful tone and continued to "call us out" on something he did not need to do. McDonald's, choose your workers better and make sure they treat their PAYING, PATIENT costumers. I will be taking a break from giving my hard earned cash at McDonald's due to the disrespect we received tonight. I hope in the future you do better and understand why we are upset. As someone in the service industry, I try to only leave good reviews, however, just now I waited 30 minutes for ONE Frappuccino, while I seen plenty of orders of them going out past me. (Fast food, but not fast drinks I guess). I'm patient with these things, so it didn't bother me. What bothered me is the manager (septum piercing girl), the girl with super short bleached tipped hair, and one other girl just stared at me when I was waiting patiently at the counter to be helped. Stood in line since I couldn't get helped otherwise, and maya was very kind, great customer service and could probably run the place better alone than with the ones who just stared at me from a far instead of asking if I needed something. Expect to wait ten minutes. They have a timer where they need people out of the drive thru in less than (however time ), 2 min I think. I believe they compete with other McDonald's and the timers. So, you order and they tell you to park and I've waiting 2-7 min Multiple times. I suggest staying at the window and not parking anymore. Bad customer service when they put the "competition timer" before the customers. Once you park, they can take there sweet time because you're not on a timer anymore. read more
