McDonald's - pretty busy - Fast Food Near Me - Paris, 75

I take no pleasure in going scorched Earth on any business, but it cannot be avoided for this particular McDonald's location. Let me preamble this review by saying that the manager, a gentleman, who wore a white short sleeve dress shirt and black vest on the Monday evening (April 6, 2026) that we dined here is an utter despicable person - and possibly some members of his staff too. Due to multiple incidents during our visit, my wife and I felt that their actions seemed to have some racial undertones during our dine-in experience. Firstly, I took a photo of their McDonald's counter from afar inside of the mall and the manager noticed me and immediately rushed around the counter and got into my face aggressively. He tried to intimidate me by asking, in a menacing manner, why I took the photo, repeatedly. I informed him that I was just using it to write a food review and he DEMANDED that I delete it immediately. I informed him that it was just a picture of their McDonald's and that he was not in the photo. His request puzzled me, but since I didn't feel like starting a war between our countries over such a small issue, I obliged to de-escalate, but the fact that he was so aggressive about it and even stood over me to watch me empty my phone trash like a child absolutely ticked me off. His aggression and attitude towards the matter was uncalled for. He could have requested it nicely, but it took it a different direction. (I took another photo of their McDonald's from a different angle anyway). Second, my wife went over to the counter to request for kids meal toys because they forgot it in our order. She observed that he happily helped another customer, of a different race, with a forgotten item, but when they made eye contact, he walked away from her and sent another employee over and didn't help her. She stated that he clearly noticed her and just decided not to help her himself. Besides that, we observed another family of Asian descent seemingly disrespected by another staff member when the staffer kind of just dumped their order at their table in an odd/disrespectful way. I tried looking for this manager after my wife's incident, so that I could confront him, but he disappeared for a good hour until we were leaving with our kids. Not that I needed the aggravation to pan their food, but it was absolutely the worst McDonald's food we everrrrrr had. Despite the experience, we were hoping to enjoy our food, but it was utterly not edible. I don't have McD often, but I enjoyed it everytime I've had it...until now, so here goes my actual review. THE FOOD ---------------- - ALL of the food was absolutely abysmal here. - Steak burger was so well-done that I'm pretty sure it reincarnated in cow heaven. - Chicken bacon onion sandwich was rather disgusting and just full of lettuce. - Kids Filet-o-fish was definitely the worst we ever had. All it had in there was a smidge of ketchup. It was as sad as anything I've ever seen. - Fries were cold when they arrived. Don't think I have ever experienced that at ANY McD's in the states. THE SERVICE ------------------- - Do I need to elaborate any further? THE SURROUNDINGS ------------------------------------ + There are lots of tables and seats in the food court for this McD's. - Located in the food court right after exiting the Louvre--convenient in theory, but that's about the only positive - Several self-order kiosks were out of service, which led to long lines; the whole process felt rushed and chaotic - The dining area was bright but noticeably unclean, with sticky tables; seating is spaced well apart so it would be comfortable if cleaned properly - Ordering is done at the kiosk--take a number and find a seat while food is brought out, but the process felt disorganized; servers wandered around with trays of food, clearly struggling to locate the correct parties - Service was extremely rude and dismissive; our order was missing items, and when I tried to ask about it, a male staff member (who seemed like a manager) ignored me after making eye contact and appeared to pass me off to someone else--this right after he had helped another customer; the interaction felt uncomfortable and disrespectful - I was directed to the McCafé counter to resolve the issue, where a female employee was noticeably more friendly and helpful - Our Happy Meals were missing the toys and didn't even come in the proper packaging, while other customers clearly received theirs correctly. - Food was shockingly bad for the price--burgers were overcooked and drier than jerky, the chicken sandwich tasted worse than cardboard, and the fries were cold; the only thing the kids would touch was a packaged strawberry yogurt drink - We were given just two napkins for a meal for four, which pretty much sums up the lack of care across the board read more

Service is too slow and the order was delivered incomplete in more ways than originally thought possible. It's also the kind of place that engages in stubborn unhelpfulness and lack of accountability. If you wait in a queue for help retrieving missing items, you are told to see a manager. If you then ask the manager for help, he may tell you to use the queue. Would not fall into this tourist trap again. Beware. read more

I don't know why there are so many bad reviews for this McDonalds. Let me just be clear if you are from the US like I am McDonald's in France are far better than the McD's in the states. Better food across the board at their restaurants. You order and pay at the kiosks unless you are paying with cash then you order on the kiosk and pay at the register. I was there for the Royal with Cheese IYKTYK, my son got two cheeseburgers and my daughter got french fries. It was a tad overpriced. We enjoyed everything we received. It was made fast and correct we took it to go. I would go back when in France and had a hankering for McD's. read more

The kiosks were confusing. Then you take the receipt it spits out to the counter to pay and then wait on a separate line to pick up the food. Whole process took 30min. The food at least tasted pretty much the same as in the States. read more

One of the worst McDonalds in Paris. You can't be expecting more if you are eating at McDonalds but this place is awful. Usually Micky D's would be 2-3 stars but this deserves negative stars. May it's a tourist place they don't care about customers but we pay for our food. Ambiance is good as it is Tuesday and the Louvre is closed, very very less people, but mam they didn't leave room to disappoint us. Please help yourself somewhere else to eat. read more

They have a great ordering system maybe the best one I have seen. You order by a screen like most places now but then you take a number that probably has a gps tracker so they will know where you are sitting. The service was also great. The food in the other end is not that great even form McDonald's standards. The burguer was not that hot and the fries were soggy. I would recommend unless you don't have time for other options. read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had waiting for food. My order was simple but the rest of my family was basically finished for lunch by the time I sat down with my meal. Unacceptably slow service. I understand this must be one of the busier locations but have more people working and be organized if that's the case. Nice and clean free wi fi, expensive for a McDonald's. Some cool dessert options in the cafe. Only had some fries but for the most part regular ol McDonald's. Much better options for food around but if McDonald's is what you are looking for this is a good one read more

Hooray for free wi-fi. I did step inside to see if there was a Value Menu burger or a Coke, but I didn't see one on the menu. So I just stepped outside and leaned on the wall to check emails and such for a few minutes. Located right around the corner from the Louvre and the Tulleries Garden. So I can't tell you if the food is any good or if the bathrooms are clean. But it's free wi-fi and that's great! read more

The employees are rude. We waited over a hour for our food. They never gave us our food and then they said that we had already got it taken to us, which is not true. After another 10 minutes, we finally got our food just to find a long hair. Save the stress and go somewhere else. read more

McD's is the place to get your coffee and pastries, was at this other famous French boulangerie and they were out of the basic Pain au Chocolates, couldn't believe it. Went across the street to mickyD's and they got everything plus wifi! And they're nicer! And they have the fresh squeezed orange juice machine! I'd choose McD's, and they have shakes. read more

I usually don't post reviews for chain restaurants, but here I am making an exception for McDonald's in France. Food is pretty much like ordinary McDonald's fast food here in the US with basically the only difference is a few menu items (like potato wedges, ice cream in a tube and sorbet) and McCafe bakeries, so I'm not complaining about food. I actually went to few McDonald's locations while I was in Paris and I had some issues with payment at almost all of them I went to, except for the one on the Champs-Elysées. I go to the kiosk and place my order and attempt to pay there with my debit card. About 5 or 6 times, my payment card "declined" because of it not being "debited"(according to what said on the touch screen) when my card was a DEBIT card. The final time, a receipt prints just for me to take to the cashier and PAY AGAIN at the register. Payment finally goes through at the register and I receive my food. Next thing I know, I check my bank account summary and I see about 5 or 6 charges of the same amount from Mc Donald's. I filed a claim for those unauthorized charges and got my money back, but Mc Donald's France really needs to fix their payment systems on their kiosks. Solid 3 out of 5. The beef patty on the Bacon Royal left a bit to be desired but was made up for by their unique French mayo which had specs of green in it for added flavour. Will definitely come back next time I'm tired of classic French cuisine. read more

Went here several times since my daughter has food allergies and she was being super finicky. Went for breakfast and ordered hotcakes and sausage. They don't have sausage only hotcakes. These come wrapped in 2's... about the size of 1hotcake in the U.S. Tried to order a sausage breakfast sandwich. All they have for breakfast is egg with bacon sandwiches. The sandwich was good but disappointed with the limited breakfast menu option. Though the main area is a bit tight there is space on the second level for sitting. They speak English and have wifi. read more
