Extremely Slow Service at McDonald's I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this McDonald's today. I sat in the drive-thru line for about 30 minutes to get my meal, which is absurd for a place that markets itself as a fast food restaurant. Additionally, I waited for over five minutes at the speaker before anyone even acknowledged I was there. This is not acceptable for a fast food establishment, and I cannot recommend this location to anyone. I will be looking for other dining options in the future, as this level of service is completely unacceptable. Reference: Receipt shows order taken at 9:54 PM. mobile order before getting off the freeway sat at the mobile order curbside pick up for over 25 check the order before I got on the freeway. Gave it to my kid in about 10 minutes down the road he had a meltdown that there was no chicken nuggets in there. We are not from the area and I did not want to turn around. I tried calling the store and they said they could not do anything for me unless I came back. This is not a McDonald's. I normally stop at and I will not be stopping there ever again. First time at this McDonald's. I used the APP, I walked in and they just called my name. I had a few special orders (no onion or pickles) and they got it right. The food was hot and tasted made to order. Friendly ADVISE: if you like McDonald's like I do, use the APP for your order, even if you arrive and haven't ordered. McDonald's APP is one of the best. Waiting in a pull out lane for my fast food, this is a disaster. I had no idea this happened. Defeats the whole idea of a drive thru.

We've been going to this McDonalds since we moved here in June of 2024. Today was the first time we've ever experienced terrible service, at a fast food chain. The Asian boy working the first window had told us to pull forward because he had our mobile order on the screen. As soon as we pulled up, we were met with the worst attitude. Asked us over, and over again what the name was on the order, and then proceeded to not listen to us despite us trying to tell him the name, and the mobile order number. After asking us random names, he then went on to say "well then I don't have your fucking order". We were confused because he told us at the speaker, to pull forward. Before we could say anything else, he stormed off to call the manager. We moved forward to the second window, and the girl there had our order. She was genuinely confused why her co-worker was giving us attitude, and saying he didn't have our fckn order. So why was he getting mad at us saying he didn't have it?. As the manager approached us to see what the situation was, the Asian boy who yelled at us, pointed at my husband and said "that's the dickhead right there". That was incredibly disrespectful, and unprofessional. Despite his attitude, we did our best to stay cool and try to just get our children's' food and leave. So getting into a verbal altercation in a drive thru was not on my bingo card this year, but here we are. So long story short I had a mobile order and we gave the code to the first window guy. He told us to pull up only for him not to find our order. He was visibly irritated and started getting louder and louder. I told him to lower his voice cus I had both my kids and my wife. He shut the window on us and we pulled up to the 2nd window. That's where he came back with his manager and called me "A fucking Dickhead." That's when I got out of the car. And we proceeded to get into a verbal argument in the drive thru. This kid was of Asian decent. I was told later that they sent him home. We all have bad days at work. But cussing at a customer should not be the way you do business regardless of how your day is going. Just know I live on JBLM and I don't plan to go to any other McDonalds but this. Let's just start with how this one little deed made my mood improve so much! This day has been bad, car broke down, oil all over me, couldn't find a bathroom, lost my wallet and everything in it, hungry. I just ordered 3x of 2 Sausage Burrito, Bacon and Cheese McGirdle, 1 hashbrown and 1 medium orange juice. They only gave me 4 sausage burrito instead of 6. They also missed charging my hashbrown. So my bill was a bit cheaper than it is supposed to but I am missing 2 Sausage Burrito for that one free of Charge hashbrown. You guys were not so busy and messed up such simple order? Honestly the worst McDonald's I've ever been to. The drive through is awfully laid out. The cashier showed what we ordered on the screen, but took it off without us knowing. So when we got to the window for our food we were missing items. We thought no bid deal, but the manager said he wouldn't even charge us for the items to get them. He said we'd have to go back through the drive through (which if you've seen the exit you know you can't just do that) or come inside to place another order. Told me to use the screen pay and I told them the screen pay won't scan my code from my phone and they still would not take my order, wasted 10 minutes of a 30min lunch and didn't end up eating! We pass thru here about once a month - exit 122. Pretty easy on/off the highway. Inexpensive decent food. Order has always been correct here (20+ times). Friendly service. Food fresh. Bathroom A-OK. Personally never experienced a long wait even at dinnertime. McDonalds, believe it or not, led the green revolution by using earth-friendly packaging on nearly everything, shaming many restaraunts that still use hideous styrofoam. So bravo McD's, for staying green, and you get a bonus green star. Lets get rid of those plastic straws, I remember when you used to have paper straws in the 60s! Okay I get that this is McDonald's so the level of service is never like fabulous, but as a fast food cheeseburger lover, I frequent McDonald's from time to time. We stopped at this location on our way to Kelso and were incredibly disappointed. My boyfriend ordered an iced mocha in which the cashier replied "uh hold on a sec" which should have been our first red flag. She came back a few seconds later to say yes - they can make an iced mocha. We drive up to get our food/drinks and my boyfriend's mocha is literally hot (and BURNED) coffee poured over some chocolate. It was actually disgusting. My food was definitely not the best I've gotten from McDonald's. My two cheeseburgers with no pickle were very clearly old and my fries had so much salt they were inedible. And like - c'mon I love McDonald's I'm a salt fiend! So you have to know these fries we're really truly bad. Weird experience. Will probably avoid this location from here on out. read more

For an updated McDonald's this place is dirty! The service is slow, it took quite a while for our meal to be put together. When the meal was finally ready I took it to our booth and realized they didn't put the order together correctly. They require a code to access the bathroom. However they will not give you the code, an employee will stop what they are doing to go unlock it for you. A person would think with this level of bathroom security that I'd would be clean and we'll maintained but this is not the case. Overall this McDonald's reminds me of one you'd find in a downtown Oakland hood. They are blasting rap music through blown out speakers that distort the music. Its exactly what you would expect for McDonald's. The layout of the parking lot was not built for success and can be quite a hazard when busy, which happens often. I have witnessed 3 wrecks in the past couple of months around lunchtime. But, the staff is great and always very friendly. I always check my food before leaving but have never really had any problems with my order being wrong. If there ever has been a concern they are quick to fix it and get you on your way.
