This is by far the worst McDonalds ever. The service is slow, there are frequent errors with the order, and the staff seems overwhelmed all of the time. I just went to get dinner and the service was so slow. No apologies or acknowledgment. Unprofessional!! The food was cold and obviously sat there for awhile. If I am going to go to McDonalds I try to go to one out of town. This one is always a disappointment. A couple of the staff in the drive-thru are nice but the pickup window staff need some customer service training. They act like they hate being there. When I picked up the food there was a man that looked like he was servicing the ice machine. He had touched several things and then took a cup and dipped it in the ice with his dirty hands. This McDonald's branch truly went above and beyond the Call of Duty today. I ordered breakfast early today at a different location and noticed that I was charged twice for one meal. I called the branch where I had received the food and they basically told me there was nothing that they could do and I had to go through my bank in order to make the correction. They did not offer a meal replacement or a gift card or anything. I actually work in banking so I knew that it was not my bank's responsibility to correct a mistake on their end. And even after telling them this they refused to correct their error. I called the Lake Stevens branch as it was the closest one that I often visit and explained to them what had been happening. Even though they are not affiliated with the branch that made the mistake their manager Sheena offered a free meal to me in order to correct the mistake this morning. She did not have to do that as the two restaurants are not truly linked in anger way. She is a stellar example of what guest customer service looks like regardless of benefit or gain. Did a mobile order when I arivied they didn't know what I was talking about they asked for a code I gave it to them we just wanted the food we had payed for the manager told me they weren't giving out free food we put into the code again I wached her enter it incorrectly i am not sure if English is just not their strong point or they just didn't care I asked for the district manager number. They gave me was the store number .i listened to the phone ring while nobody picked it up .as it turns out the woman who so rude to me was not the store manager .the real manager finally came out after I've been there 35 minutes. We are not talking about a lot of money but while I am waiting. For these fool to make this right my Starbucks order is getting cold. In the 12 years I have been going to this location I would say there is a 90% chance the order will not be correct no matter where you order it. I realize these kids don't really care about what they're doing but someone needs to be checking the bags before they're handed to customers so I see this as a fail in management not the staff and obviously for 12 years it's been a problem I would almost prefer to travel 8 miles out of my way to go to another McDonald's read more

Drive thru always sucks. Lived here 20 years... use this in a pinch now and then.. timely service is not their strong point. To put in perspective.. The tomato's were the size of a quarter and they still had the stem on it, and the skin was still on the onions, the 1 slice of cheese was folded in half, and I paid extra for this. Only go here if you consistently like waiting 15 minutes in the drive thru. This place is run by 16 year olds who don't care about a thing, you may need an IQ of 10 to work here. The inside dining is closed due to construction yet there are no visible signs. We parked our motorcycles, got out of our gear and had to walk close enough to look in the windows to learn the place is closed. What a pain... I placed an online order on the way home. When I pulled up to McDonalds I noticed there were cones in front of the online pick up and the drive through line was wrapped out of the parking lot. So I pulled into a parking spot and decided to call the store only to find out their number was disconnected. So I went to go inside to find a note on the on the door saying the lobby was closed due to not enough staff. I knocked on the door and it took the manager a few minutes to get to me after looking at me through the door multiple times. He walked over to say "the lobby is closed" and I told him I had an online order and wondering if he could bring it out to me or run it to the door or something. He said only thing I can do is get in the drive through line. I asked if my food was even going to be hot by the time I get to the window. He rolled his eyes and told me he will just go see if it's ready now or not. He came back with my order and said next time if I see this happen just get in line to avoid this happening again. I told him I ordered before I even got here and didn't know there were cones out and he said well just get in line again and shut the door in my face. I was shocked and just went back to my car I ate a French fry and it was not only cold but tasted as if they tried to refry them to warm them up. And worst of all I couldn't even call and complain to the manger because he was the manger ! I understand being understaffed but stop your online orders if it gets that bad. read more

Would rate negative stars if I could. The new manager, Nicole, is SO rude toward her employees and customers. Every time I see her she is being atrocious to another human being. Today, I went in to pick up a door dash and tried to order a smoothie while waiting for my food. I knew it would affect my times as a driver, but it was a sacrifice I was willing to take because I had nothing to eat today and was on the verge of passing out. Even though I was paying myself, Nicole continued to scream at me (which could allegedly be heard from the drive thru line) about how irresponsible I am, how I'm failing as a delivery driver, and yelled at me just for trying to order a smoothie. I just came from this McDonald's and it's the worst! I ordered my family dinner and you would have thought I asked for the world!! I had to go in because they just couldn't seem to get it right. THEN, the manager came over to finish taking my order and she was rude and nasty! I'm not the one that couldn't get the order right and it STILL wasn't right. I took the order out to my car and it was incorrect. I spent a lot of money there for dinner and it will be the last time!! I will drive to Snohomish before stepping back into the Lake Stevens one. Remodeled; finally. It was overdue. The two speakers are nice but there should have been two lanes like others; you can still get stuck behind when the person at front speaker takes so long. This place has been a order accuracy nightmare forever. My wife and I always have to check because 9 out of 10 times it has something wrong. We've had numerous rude staff encounters before and complained with no reply or remorse. Now it's a bit better, staff isn't rude but not happy. I would love to not go here but sometimes my kids pick this as they're reward and I don't want to go to Snohomish or Everett (which are my favorite) read more

We ordered two bacon Big Mac meals today plus two Mc chickens with bacon. The Mc chickens are normally 2 for $3 but adding bacon added close to $3 extra! I love the coffee here. Every time I've come here the store has always been clean and the staff is friendly.

Food is better than most McDonald's. Restaurant is clean, employees are on the ball and friendly. I drive by there frequently but rarely choose this place because the owner is to cheap to put paper towels in the bathroom. It is so damn frustrating to turn around, after splashing water on my face to see air blowers that do not even swivel upward. Then I'm left with 2 options, use toilet paper, or walk to the front counter and use napkins to dry my face. Actually the 3rd option is to eat somewhere else! read more

I have lived in Lake Stevens for 3 years and I have come here quite a bit with my kids and every time I have come here they are super slow, customer service isn't the friendliest. This last time I decided it was time to write a review. The woman taking our order was very short and pushy to be done with taking our order. I was ordering to feed a family of 5 and she cut us off after 3 items and gave us our total. I had to tell her we weren't done ordering. Then when we got to the second window to get our food the girl at the window was very sarcastic and seemed annoyed and didn't seem to care that I was asking questions to make sure all of our food was there. They seriously need to work on their customer service skills. A few minutes before I went through the drive thru, they lost power. So when I pulled up they didn't answer the board for a while and when they did they said that they lost power. That was it. I could understand if they said that they couldn't take orders for a while or just said something to that effect, but all they kept saying to me and everyone else is that they lost power. This is one of the worst McDonald's I have been to. They have trouble getting your order correct. Tonight when I ordered from the drive though the woman said "wow you must be hungry." I was ordering for multiple people and only got cheeseburgers. Their french fries are rarely fresh and even when they look like they are they taste like they never change the oil. She didn't even ask if we needed anything else or drinks. When I got to the window to pick up the food we overheard her and a manager complaining about another customer that was unhappy with their service. I sat for several minutes waiting and listening to them make fun of a customer since the window was open. She was handed a tiny bag. She looked at it and then she almost handed it out to me. The tiny bag looked like only one item was in it. She paused and then asked someone if all the burgers were in the bag. It was obvious to anyone that there was no way that many burgers would fit. She then tells me I need to pull around to the front and wait. We waited for several minutes and then a guy came out with one bag. They stuffed multiple cheeseburgers in one bag, some were smashed. read more

Wow, stopped in for dinner for the family, I felt bad for the staff due to the line around the building. Ordered my food and made my first mistake I paid with cash, I should have used a credit card . I get my food drive out and look in the bag and see they forgot my Big Mac, so I have to call them as the restaurant is being renovated and you can't go inside and they 20 cars deep, the kid answers the phone as tells me they will bring it out, 10 minutes go by and they won't answer their phone? Finally they bring it out with another customers order, so I get home after a 30 minute ordeal and find I have some other customers breakfast order at 8pm and not even enough food to feed my family . So I try and call them and the cowards wouldn't even answer the phone shame on you! (I left my phone on my counter to just sit and ring) So I was able to feed my kids 7, 5, and 2 my dinner at least, me and the wife shared a can of soup. read more
