I usually have normal service at this location and don't have problems. I will not be going back to this location when I want McDonald's because the Strobridge location has been messing up my order a lot. I ordered a drive thru order yesterday I got a 5 dollar meal deal that comes with small fries , large vanilla ice coffee , free medium fries because I ordered off the app and a cheeseburger. The problem was the employees completely forgot to give me fries and I didn't notice right away because my bag was big and I was hungry because I'm 33 weeks pregnant. Everything else was in the bag but they only gave me one bbq sauce for my nuggets. I was disappointed I didn't get my French fries when I paid for the small ones and I left a customer feedback submitted through the app to report it . Someone needs to get fired because this is not the first time they have forgotten things in my bag and it felt like it was on purpose. I also left a google review for this location because my husband ordered dinner one time and they messed up the order really badly by not giving him his mc chickens when he can't eat beef he's Indian. My husband didn't get to eat and it made me sad. I personally think this is getting ridiculous. The workers are being paid more and it's more expensive to go out and it's shouldn't be so hard to put French fries or the correct food in the bag . read more

Calling all raw meat enthusiasts! This is the place for you! Came here one night and grabbed a burger only to get it home to find its was uncooked. It was really annoying especially since I had to wait for it after going through the drive through. Thank goodness I cut the burger in half before biting into it. I wasn't going to eat it so I brought it back and got a refund. The manager was apologetic and offered a new burger but I passed. She immediately knew who the raw meat bandits were. She flicked her neck and gave them a look of disappointment, however they could have cared less. They stood there with blank stares. I should have learned my lesson, but a few weeks later I was in a hurry and ordered another burger. When I opened it up the cheese wasn't even remotely melted. It was cold and standing at attention on top of the meat patty. They weren't busy at all so I'm not sure what the hurry was to throw out an unfinished burger. Visiting this restaurant on a Saturday morning, it was incredibly busy. The staff all seems to be very efficient and working very hard. What's interesting about this McDonald's is that they have 6 kiosks that you can use to place your order however, hardly anyone is using the kiosks! I tried the kiosk, and in fact it really works very smoothly. You can even get the senior discount at the kiosk. The reason for the poor rating is the lack of sanitizing wipes in the children's play area. They have a sign that says McDonald's "cares" but then of course there are no wipes whatsoever. I ended up with someone else's order and today I went inside to pick up mobile order because it was taking too long and they said it's not in system. The manager working today was mean. Highly disorganized, slow, chaotic, and the opposite of customer centric. Their machines are often broken. And they don't tell you when they are broken. They let you order stuff that they don't have. They will then say your order is ready, including the stuff they are out of. But then it's missing from the bag. Then they will give you a refund for the stuff they don't have, but give you a refund that is smaller than the amount you paid. They don't care about the customer. They don't care about getting things right. They don't care about fast service. The stuff here maybe less expensive than elsewhere, but you'll end up paying for it in time and mistakes. read more

Well, I don't often make it a point to waste time writing reviews of fast food restaurants. However this morning's experience was so unique to me that I thought I would share. Plus, since the first thing I have to talk about is my coffee order I have so much sugar running through my brain that I can see multiple timelines, And it turns out in most of them I write this review. The first thing I noticed was that there was almost no line which is really unusual for this location but I decided to go against my first instinct to run and got in line. When I got up to the ordering microphone I was placed on hold for several minutes. And despite a relatively easy order it took several minutes to get it complete. When I got to the window to pay I discovered that this was because the person who was taking orders was also having an in-depth conversation with another co-worker. Well I couldn't hear the conversation subject matter It was hilarious I'm sure because both of them were laughing heavily and completely ignoring everybody else. Then I got my food and the person who gave it to me was polite courteous and pleasant. Had I known that he had handed me what I can only assume is melted down sugar candies suspended and a lukewarm milk solution. . . . Maybe I wouldn't have had such a pleasant memory of him. It's hard to tell if the sandwich is okay because I'm shaking from all the sugar in my coffee I assume it's coffee it doesn't taste like coffee it really only tastes like sugar and since I ordered a coffee order that has NO sugar in it the amount of sugar that's in my semi-warm drink is spectacularly bizarre. I wasn't able to drink more than a couple sips of it because it's not coffee. My hash brown which is usually the delight of every breakfast order was of course ice cold. And soggy. Most disappointing. But at least I have fresh data on when to not go to McDonald's. If no line is there it's because no one wants to be there at that time. So 10:02 on a Monday morning: this is not the McDonald's of choice. read more

Ordered off the app, waited for 30 min and they never brought the food out. Went inside and showed them the receipt email I got for placing the order. The "manager" said they did not get my mobile order and could not honor the food order. Told me to just order again and pay again with no refund for the initial mobile order. She told me I would have to accept the loss of payment. Would not apologize or cooperate to complete the order. She was unwilling to replace my lost order even after o showed her the email I got showing it was completed with payment and with an order number. Downgrading to a ZERO. I understand the workers are mainly entry-level employees, but dang, take some pride in what you do. Here's a secret to the workers: You never know who you'll be helping. I know many people who were snagged from fast food jobs by other professionals looking for someone with excellent customer service and the ability to do a good job under pressure....and then offered $50k+ a year. Not only that, but your bad attitude, snarky facial expressions, and all-around laziness is really ugly and unbecoming. Also, a word to the manager/owner here: maybe fire everyone, close for a day, and re-hire with a new attitude. I'll stick with Wendy's next door, or McDs on Grove. Two times I have had unsatisfactory visits at this McDonalds. Typically I don't have any issues but these two are the worst. Last year, I went and bought a sausage mcmuffin and an apple juice. The juice tasted weird and when I checked the expiration date it had expired 1 month prior! Just observing people using the scanning machine to order their food. One Dad and little girl had to wait at least 30 minutes or more for their order!! It was a Happy Meal!!! My husband had to go to the counter to complain on behalf of the Dad... Took another 10 minutes to finally serve them!! It's a slow Sunday. Guess most of the orders are for food pickup services customers. We watched people use the kiosk only to wait while people walked in and received their orders... I don't have high expectations from a McD's, but this is a new low. I made a simple order of 2 Egg McMuffins at the drive-thru window, and was told to pull forward to one of the waiting spots, because the eggs will take a minute. Fine, so we sit in my car for 5 minutes, then a server walks over with multiple bags and starts handing out the orders. When he comes over to me, I confirm my order, but instead of handing me a bag, he says that they messed up my order and continues to hand out the bags to the cars behind me. On his way back into the restaurant, he tells me to pull up to a spot where I won't be blocking the other cars, and tries to repeat my order but messes it up again ("3 Sausage McMuffins?"), so I confirm my order again ("No, 2 Egg McMuffins"). Another 5 minutes go by, the same server comes back out again and hands me a bag, but when I check, it has 2 Sausage McMuffins. At this point, I am at a loss of words and decide to walk into the store to ask for a refund. In all fairness, the young intern at the cashier was quite accommodating (and looked a bit freaked out), and I understand that this is mostly the doing of one incompetent employee, but enough is enough already - how much should I need to do to enjoy my Egg McMuffins in peace? read more

Purchased 4 meals through the McDonald's app for pickup here, went to curbside to wait and a girl the brought food out. I asked her if all the 4 sandwiches were in the bag, she said yes. I would have checked, but my younger son was in the car with the tray of drinks on his lap and it was dark outside. So I trusted the person and drove home 20 miles away. My wife and family sat down got their sandwiches, fries and drink and started to eat. I sat down ate my fries first and then asked where my Big Mac was and it was no where to be found.
