My concerns include inaccurate filings, missed deadlines, delayed communication (with myself and opposing counsel), unclear settlement guidance, and a lack of clear direction regarding upcoming hearings and next steps. I raised concerns early that the complaint filed in my case appeared to include facts that did not match the actual issues with my vehicle. I also repeatedly followed up regarding settlement questions, mileage calculations, reimbursement issues, and court dates. The defense attorneys even requested court sanctions against SLP. What makes this more frustrating is that SLP's own website advises consumers to choose a lemon law attorney who is a good communicator, keeps clients informed, listens to concerns, and answers questions promptly. That was not my experience. To make this even worse 3 of the attorneys and partner that worked on my case left the law firm. I am currently in the process of filing a complaint with the State Bar of California regarding my concerns with the handling of my case. I would not use this firm again and would not recommend them based on my experience.
