This place is the best FBO on the field at Yakima. They offer all the usual services and repair services that any other FBO does but they consistently go out of their way to make your sometimes very short stay comfortable and convenient. I've flown in here quite a bit and requested their courtesy car twice. Both times it has been unavailable so a member of their staff has personally chauffeured me around town to take care of the business that I needed to take care of. They've even bought me lunch before! What a great group of people. read more

This airport is super small. Has like 3 or 4 gates and you have to walk out in the elements to get the plane which is usually a propeller plane. Small lanes in the plane and small seats; two double rows; the over head carry on is like half the size of what your used to using. Maybe a small kitten or a clutch purse can fit up there. read more

What an incredible place available to the people of the valley! We came here on a field trip while…read moreseeing a bunch of nonprofits in the area and what they've got here is a total gem! It is one of 30 such set ups in the nation and the only one in a rural area. Junior achievement world is set up like a small town with businesses inside. The businesses are primarily local with some large national chains present as well. The premise of junior achievement is to teach young people about money and finances. After completing a course through their school, they are able to come down here and participate in a day where they are given scenarios and play out in real life situations as they pertain to finances. In the Yakima Valley, fifth graders and eighth-graders come here to learn about real world finances and today it has been a huge success! This is totally worth checking out and the lessons taught in the schools are fantastic. They go kindergarten through 12th grade and build on each other. This program and the set up at Junior cheap in the world are going to be hugely valuable now and going forward!

This summer, I contacted again to see if Steve could give him a few lessons before he takes his driving test with Steve. The lessons didn't happen. Now, my son called to take his written exam. My son made the apt. Took the day off. My son took his bike and was on time for the apt. However, it was a Saturday and the doors were locked. He couldn't figure out how to get into the building. He even called Steve to let him know he was there. Steve wouldn't let my son take the test. very disappointing
