After reviewing the full gallery, none of the photos were usable in their unedited state due to consistent setup-related issues visible in the images. These included multiple visible wrinkles in the backdrop, lighting inconsistencies, noticeable grease spots on the floor, and elements of studio equipment appearing in the frame in the background. There were also several images where the spotlight placement was uneven or poorly positioned, which impacted the final result. I understand that galleries are delivered unedited, and I did not expect perfection. However, in my experience with other professional photoshoots, unedited images are still delivered with a clean and usable baseline. Editing is typically meant to enhance strong images, not correct widespread setup and capture issues across a large portion of the gallery. From my experience, out of an hour-long session, the only images that reached a usable final quality were the 10 edited images included in the package. The remainder of the gallery contained issues that would require editing to be usable, which was not what I expected for this type of session. I did not expect to need editing to correct setup and backdrop issues outside of my control. According to the pricing listed, the base package includes 10 edited images, with additional edits priced at $13 per image, and higher-tier packages listed at approximately $425 for 15 edited images and $650 for 25 edited images. Based on my experience, because so many images required correction just to be usable, the practical value of the session ended up being tied to the number of edited images included or purchased. In other words, if you book this service, it's important to understand that the number of usable final images may closely align with how many edited images are included in your package or how many additional edits you are willing to pay for. That means you could be paying several hundred dollars and still only receive a limited number of usable images. When I raised these concerns, they were initially minimized and I was directed back to the policy regarding unedited images. Later, I was offered basic adjustments such as brightening and cropping for the remaining photos. However, as shown in the attached examples, these adjustments do not resolve the underlying setup issues. The images would still require full editing to remove background elements, fix lighting inconsistencies, and correct visible imperfections. I was also offered the option to have additional images edited at the standard per-image rate. Based on the size of the gallery, this would have resulted in approximately $240+ in additional costs just to make more of the images usable, which I did not feel was appropriate given that the issues stemmed from the setup and capture. I made multiple attempts to resolve this directly, including requesting a partial refund, but no resolution was offered beyond the original package terms. After raising these concerns, communication became limited and eventually stopped. This was an important milestone for me, and I was hoping for a more consistent and polished outcome. I would strongly recommend that future clients clearly understand how many edited images are included, the additional cost per image, and what level of baseline quality to expect from the full gallery before booking.
