As usual, it's faster and cheaper to stand at the bar, order, and have your coffee instead of sitting down and waiting for service. service was efficient, if somewhat steely--the norm for Italian cafes, I think--and their English was more passable than my Italian. would recommend if you're in the area and looking for a quick coffee.

Also, an excellent place for apperitivo--delicious snacks like stuffed zucchini paired with a well-balanced aperol spritz, a great tie-over until dinner. They also have a limited selection of good quality beers. I've been here a few times, and it's always been a great experience. Even when they were handling ~120 customers at once (a group of us heading to an event on a bus) they made every coffee and cappuccino with care and a smile. I've enjoyed my stops here and will be back the next time I'm in Savona.

We found out that the machine is defective and went back to get our money or exchange for another coffee machine. They refuse to exchange or give us our money back. Our machine cost us 39 euros for 2 espresso. Be ware not to buy from them. We found out later that machine was made in China not Italy. It is a scam and a rip off
