Every meal comes with a buffet, including cold and warm salads, cheesy cauliflower bake (AMAZING), honey carrots and baked pumpkin, I could just eat the buffet to be honest! On Wednesday nights the Mallee has $15 Parmi's, personally I do not like them, however I am picky with meat and everyone else I know loves them! And on Friday they have a $12.50 burger and fries night, I do not like this, it's way too fatty, although it may be because of how cheap the burgers are, because at full price the burgers were amazing! Although I don't like everything on the menu, I will always eat here. Always cooked amazingly.

Excellent Italian food for a small port town! Sauces tasted very homemade and packed with flavor…read more I tasted the Napoli(tomato) and the Garlic(alfredo) sauces. I ordered the chicken parm and it was a filling meal pan fried to perfection. Good amount mozzarella and more meat then breading. Got a chicken ceaser salad along with it cuz I was a but hungry having skipped lunch. They lacked in service and the tables were not full. They had one waitress and two tables when I arrived. 20 minutes before I got a drink order in and another 15 before I got my drink. I went ahead and ordered my food along with the drink and the place got packed! Another waitress joined into help out and she was very skilled. Had she been there earlier, they probably would have gotten five stars. The food took about 15 minutes to come out and well worth the wait. Don't come here if your expecting a quick meal, be ready to chill and enjoy.

So naturally I was really impressed by Valentino's. Well priced meals, made with tasty, fresh ingredients, served by friendly confident staff made for a comfortable and relaxed evening. Our entire group ordered pasta, and no one was disappointed. Another bonus was the beer and wine list. It's always good to see restaurants stocking local wines, but even better, local beers. I'm starting to get bored of the same limited beer list at every restaurant. After this experience, I'm keen to get back to Devonport to try the rest of the best of Best Street!

Our first encounter with the friendly staff was buying some drinks from the bottle-o and chatting to the staff. So lovely and so helpful. We decided to return the next day for dinner. I asked what they had that would be gluten free and I was advised I could have grilled fish. This was really lovely and so nice of them to be accomodating. I had grilled fish salad and some chips. My friends had- the Parma which was huge and he said was lovely. The pork belly was another hit and the scallops were delicious. The portion sizes were huge, we were so over full. If you are looking for nice Aussie pub grub then this is your place. It's not fancy, it's lovely, honest, friendly people serving nice, filling pub grub. The staff were so friendly and helpful when we didn't know what to order they helped us to make our decisions they brought out more dressing for my friend. We wanted to try the deserts but could not fit them in. The view in the back dining room is lovely.
