They set a professional learning environment that allows children to still have fun while learning ballet. Erika and Bradley are good people with a lot of patience. They work with children with special needs as well as give free lessons at the Crossroads Mission to children who otherwise could not afford to take ballet. They have my highest recommendation.

The studio made a large move from a building on Main Street to a building at their home. This has caused many problems. Their financial state of affairs is questionable. The studio went an entire week with NO RUNNING WATER but held classes anyway. Neighbors have complained about the number of cars parking on the street and so they have asked parents not to stay for classes but to just drop off their children. This leaves no accountability to the owners. The children are unsupervised unless they are in class. There is no room for students waiting for class to be in the studio and they don't want the students in their house so they have the students waiting OUTSIDE on the patio and in the Yuma heat. On one occasion, I had to go pick up my friend's daughter because she had a medical emergency and when I had arrived, NO ADULT had aided the child. She was on her own with the help of a bunch of other kids and in fact, niether of the owners knew what had happened. UNACCEPTABLE. We brought this up to the owners who became immediately defensive. Bradley stopped all communications with the mother. He would not deal with her at all after that. Highly unprofessional behavior. Bradly's moods have become worse and worse. Just the other night, after a refund was requested by a parent, Bradly verbally accosted a student for sitting against a wall instead of dancing in a dance routine that she was not part of. The student's response "he's just in one of his moods". When is it ok for a child to be so used to an adults behavior that they make that kind of statement. As this story has been talked over, more issues have come to surface of Bradly's temper and verbal assault against his students. I and other parents are currently working to file a formal complaint against Arizona Classical Ballet and Bradley Bowen.

Initial Impression: So I've been to this park a handful of…read moretimes & if you don't know the area, it can be a little hard to find. The park is huge & secluded & its own parking & restrooms. Pros: Its secluded & has many trees & lush green grass, a perfect venue. It has 1 Ramada so you don't have to share the space. The ramada features 3 rectangular tables about 11ft long. The lighting is dim. There are 2 extra benches to the right of the ramada. The grass is well kept. There is a fun little train track to the right of the park, on certain days & times you can pay a fee to ride the tiny train. The views are gorgeous. There is a huge bbq grill to the left of the ramada. There is one outlet all the way to the left of the ramada by an electrical pole. Its about 250ft from the ramada, you'll need your own extension cord to plug in to it. There is 1 bench to the left of the ramada. The restrooms are right around the corner. About a 2min walk.. Cons: The restrooms are not as close as I'd prefer.... you can't send your kids bu themselves because you can't see them because the hill blocks the restroom. The restrooms are always surrounded by the older senior crowd. I think they play pokemon.... there... the closest outlet is about 250ft away. The lighting is dim... in the ramada. Overall Experience: We had a BIRTHDAY party here & it was awesome, we were not surrounded by 10 other parties or random strangers walking by. The grass area is huge. Its a perfect venue for any event. Maybe Easter or something. We had a jumpee on the left of the ramada & it was perfect. The kids ran around barefoot & there were no stickers anywhere in sight. The grass is very fresh. You can explore to the right along the tiny tracks & go on a scavenger hunt.its quite peaceful & very nice. We loved it.

Visiting Yuma for the first time, the Armed Forces Park was on my itinerary as a "must see"…read moreattraction. It's my belief - as an American - that one should honor and respect those who have served their nation, and to that extent pay respect when possible. The memorial itself is made up of several walls with over 2,000 black granite plaques honoring Yuma area veterans. A United States flag is proudly displayed in the center of the park among a cactus and desert style landscape. A concrete amphitheater - along with benches throughout the park - allow visitors to sit down and mediate. Dedicated to honor and respect the sacrifices of all past, present, and future veterans, the one-acre park is located on Gila Street at the site of the old railroad depot. Designated as "a place of comfort and sign of hope" for generations of today and those to come, I visited on three separate occasions during my one week stay in Arizona. A very calm and tranquil place - a "must see" attraction should you visit the area. The memorial also has a number of polished granite tables etched with the service emblems of the various branches of the nation's armed services - Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Merchant Marines, Coast Guard and National Guard. Another table honors prisoners of war and those missing in action. A collaboration of the city of Yuma and the Yuma Chamber of Commerce, the Armed Forces Park is the only park of its kind in Arizona. I will definitely return when visiting in the future. William E. Lewis Jr. Vero Beach, Florida.
