We had already been eating like royalty at the chalet, so leaving we were a little nervous and then BOOM, everything you expect from French cuisine around quality and flavor came through here. The foie gras was legitimately the best I've ever have enter my mouth. I could have ordered that consistently for hours. I wish it was like a Brazilian steakhouse where I could have taken out my paddle and kept flagging down the staff for them to serve me unlimited plates of that damn thing. So freaking good. As a large group, we opted for a fondue and a hot stone meat plate and they were exactly what we needed. Perfect portions and able to try the bounty of this places riches. CHEESE ME PLEASE is what it felt like. I had a Chablis from the gods. The dessert trio was a perfect way to dabble in all the goodies. You must go here when in Morzine. It's a little wonderland ;)

I mean who says that. Don't walk into a restaurant might be the stupidest thing I've ever heard. The door was wide open essentially welcoming anyone on the street. On top of that there were plenty of people in the restaurant. If you want to eat here you might have to quantum tunnel through the door and then float to your seat. If you enjoy terrible experiences, abysmal service and gross negligence towards customers be my guest and eat at this atrocious establishment.

The trash clearly had been sitting for days for dozens of flies to be buzzing around. I filled my cup with soda from the fountain and a fly was floating in there. I asked for a new cup and the staff seemed unfazed that this occurred. About the sandwiches, compared to the US/primarily NYC, they are smaller than what I'm used to. They're less generous with filling and the breads themselves are smaller. Options are pretty basic, ham, turkey, chicken etc with the same veggies except for spinach. Dressings are all the same as well. It's pricier than even NYC but I guess that's expected in Switzerland.

The burger was well cooked (you have your choice of well done, medium or "bleeding") and had a nice flavor. The fries were excellent -- hot and crispy with just the right amount of salt. Would have been more if they had the Toblerone McFlurry I wanted. Happy Meals were good. My soda came in a half filled coffee cup, but that's fine. The nuggies were crisp and the fries could use a little more crisp. The hamburger is the same as the states. Cheeseburger Royal was solid. It had the proper burger to bun ratio and all the standard condiments I would want in a burger. I would get again. My favorite was the Homestyle Crispy Chicken Chargrill. It was really juicy and crispy and really hit the spot. About half a buck for sauces. Currysauce and the Hot Devil sauce. Both were great. I would love to have that devil sauce in my local McD.
