This McD has a super tiny area to the counter. It gets really crowded. Super nice girl taking my order. Don't forget to grab tissues and straws if you order to go. Nothing is included in your bag. read more

Super gimmicky. Being from NYC myself, I guess you can say that the burgers here are a homage to…read moresome of NYC's famous landmarks. I came here unexpectedly because everything in Antwerp seems to close at 7pm and was told that I had a shot of not starving myself at Old Town...where I found myself pulled in by the bright, flashy Broadway-esque lights as a desperate salvation for food. I'm no burger expert and there is no really such thing as a "New York burger". A burger is a burger. I had the Empire Cheeseburger with and overall, it was an enjoyable burger. Large in size and sandwiched between a toasted sesame roll, the beef patty and toppings were juicy and tasty. Whatever that "secret sauce" was, it wasn't that distinctive, so I couldn't really taste it. I had a side order of Belgian fries and I wasn't too excited about those; they were more on the dry side. Pricey for a fast food restaurant, but the good quality of the burger totally did the price justice. If you add on fries to your burger, there's a "deal" for an additional €3.60, which I didn't find it that much of a deal since the fries were subpar. The atmosphere of this place is really nice, though. Seems like mostly the young come here after work for happy hour to hang out.

I took the four season burger which had a tofu/pumpkin patty which was delicious. The bun had a nice crunch to it and the buger was a nice size. Only downsides were that the patty was considerably smaller than the bun of the burger. My friends who ate beef and chicken did not have the same problem. Also they only accept MasterCard if paying with card. Worth the 13€! (Burger/fries/drink)

Dear tourists: all this is, is a snack stand. Nothing more. Forget about any write-ups you may have…read moreread that glorify this place or somehow pen this as the #1 place for frites. It's literally just a snack stand, or as they might say in Chicago, a greasy spoon. I came in early afternoon on a Monday and it was near empty. Socially awkward people will be happy to know there are ordering kiosks with several language options, so you won't have to "uhh" your way through an order. The Flemish beef stew is something I figured I had to get before leaving. The combo (menu) comes with fries, a drink, and a condiment of your choosing. Sure, it's fine. But nothing special about it. Keep expectations low, and you'll be just fine.

Love the customization options. SERVICE- staff was friendly and helpful. Not your average "I don't care and I hate working here" mentality you get at other fast food chains. PRICE- not super cheap, more expensive than Burger King or Mickey D's but I felt it was worth the money. Bonus: THEY HAVE A SODA FREESTYLE MACHINE!! I love these but unfortunately these are rare in Belgium as is free flow soda so this is a huge plus for a soda addict like myself. Probably the best fast food burger chain in Belgium and the Antwerp branch is awesome. Defo going again!

This place will surely cause me to 'suffer' more gluttony and a shorter life span but every bite will have been worth all of it... Everything is on point at five guys so I'm spotlighting the FRIES right here, seriously buy them and drown them in sauce or vinegar or both! While my latest pet peeve is solely singling out the HOT DOG topped to my own preference the main event is and will always be the hamburger. Go for the little version if you're a firsttimer. If personel is found rude and unprofessional that's just Belgian social incompetence. Next up: Cherry Bacon Milkshake
