Always a good time at MB2. We came out this weekend to destress after an eventful week and it was such a lovely time. We rode the go karts, ate some yummy food, had some drinks and connected with our son over mini golf and skee-ball. We also spent some time playing the lawn games out back. I've never officially played corn hole, but we had a fun time trying to make the bean bags in the hole. My husband and I I als took some time to swing in the batting cages and I really think I'll be coming back to do that whenever I need to destress!

Friendly staff, a handful of games were down but over all a good experience. My boys had a great time. #mb2entertainmentbkd @mb2entertainmentsbkd #buzzybooth

For my tweens 12th birthday she wanted to come here. She loves the go carts. We saw on Groupon the deals they were having and it was amazing. We got three 2 hour unlimited play and that incudes the batting cages, go carts and the arcade and more for $99. I bought it on Groupon, we went, they gave us 3 separate cards and once we swiped them then the 2 hours started. We all got to share the cards as well. My husband and I played the arcade games and the batting cages with the girls cards. My only complaint was the heat but of course, its the middle of July, I expected that. Staff was awesome, even more awesome than last time. The staff at the front register were great especially this one guy who helped us sign our waivers. Him and another girl at the bar/restaurant section were more than kind. They made our day there perfect. The girl gave us free water in a pitcher and kept it coming. It was so hot, I didn't want anything else to drink but water. The sliders were delicious by the way, loved the sauce. We will for sure be returning but at fall time.

To be honest I got that mitt I used to go to Camelot back in the day in the eighties and the '90s before shut down I thought it was going to be like Camelot or old and ran down and jacked up I was surprised this place is out of this world it's really nice Got a little bar in there foods on point That $9.99 all you can eat menu they got is pretty good they give you small portions and all but it's worth it The only drawback is the only reason why I didn't give it a five it's that you have to order it then it comes to your table and you have to order your next order which I think is kind of weird but oh well but the food was on point Pizza was definitely hot you burn your mouth on it games are on point but I'm not sure of for kids though I saw more adults than I saw kids so that was kind of different I mean of course she got the miniature golf If you got the go-karts and you have the floaty boats out there also they did a good job on putting a spot together cuz it was kind of crappy when it was Camelot. Staff was on point and they were very nice. It's definitely alternative to go to have fun And what freak me out they have thrifty's ice cream and you know all the thrifty's All the thrifty's grocery stores been closed down for years and that's a plus for all us old folks

My kids enjoying the arcade.

We had a fun and great experience at MB2. Perfect for a quality family time. My boys loved the mini kart karts, arcades, and golf. The food was delicious and fresh because they were made to order. My favorite was the churros! Best churros I've ever had. Staff were very accommodating, approachable, and friendly. We'll be coming back soon.

The Arcade is pretty cool.... Staff was nice... Decent variety of games. The go karts however; are questionable. They need to make sure safety precautions are followed for all guests; maybe have managers run it and not teenagers. Potentially dangerous if not all safety guidelines are followed by both staff and guests. Safety Tip- for ladies with long hair; make sure your hair is up prior to riding go karts.

Beer Bar...nice setup, just wished the seats were more comfy.

We came for a little fun for our Anniversary. We remember this place from when we were teenagers, but with the rebranding this place now has a little more adult edge to it, that I really like. It has a full beer and wine bar, restaurant quality food, and AXE Throwing!! Which I have been waiting years for us to get here in Bako. I really hope people start trying this place out again, because there are wonderful upgrades under the new ownership.

Modelo Michelada

Friday 7:10pm ~5mins waiting to get tickets at the front desk with a decent crowd Friday night. Started with Micheladas that was nicely presented & taste was good for someone who doesn't really like micheladas (part of me wants a charred jalapeño slice lol) 8.2/10 Pizza surprised me for what I was expecting (Little Caesars/Chuck E Cheese) . Sauce didn't have overpowering tomato flavor but nonetheless the flavor wasnt absent. Destroyed half a large pepperoni & didn't feel too heavy afterwards. Slices did have a nice crunch to the bite & to the crust. Finishing touch in my opinion is if the crust was dressed up with something (Garlic/parmesan/etc.) ~10mins for food & drinks to arrive. Overall 8.7/10 Who doesn't love Go Karts?! Nimble. Quick. Planted little kart. Upgraded karts from the old ones that takes turns great regardless of running wide or tight lines. I wish they were 10% faster but they are definitely quick enough to have a good thrill run with your family friends or other MB2 players. ~10mins wait time ~7mins on track time. 9.4/10 Batting cages had a nice diverse selection of bats & helmets were confidence inspiring in the quality of the feel. Pitch height adjustments were indeed noticeable. I was loading up shooting for the moon every pitch....i ended going 4/30 :D Could have stayed here for half an hour but ultimately wanted to experience as much as possible while here. Overall 9.2/10 Standard red golf clubs for small & black for older players. Golf balls are in a neat little vending machine (Are you really trying to win if you aren't selecting the teal colored ball?) Mini Golf River course isn't the one I'd normally take but it was a nice change. Mini Golf experience was as expected relaxed & enjoyable with a background that looks lively & vibrant completing the mini golf experience 8.5/10 I should have known better I never win in the claw machine games but here I was swiping away going for multiple ticket prizes. Basketball games were cheaper than anticipated & well worth the swipes . I wasn't Kevin Harvick on the track but I felt like CP3 on the Clippers hoop! No disrespect to anyone who enjoys the other arcade games they present (Hoop Connect4, Fast & Furious, Motorbikes, etc.) but how is there not an air hockey table? 7.8/10 I was banking on the overall experience to be carried by the go karts & mini golf but was pleasantly amazed by how well balanced everything was. Definitely a place I would come back, bring family & out of town friends. Special thanks to Odette who was not our server/waitress but made sure our orders came out quickly & had a fun positive attitude. Customer service 9.5/10 I want to give it 5 stars but a few things that retain it from its full potential in my opinion. If I could give it 4.5 that would be my ideal yelp rating. MB2 experience 8.75/10

Ehhh, honestly wasn't too impressed with our visit, maybe it had a little to do with the fact that it was hot as heck lol, but overall, just wasn't feeling it... Let me break it down... The place got a facelift yeah,... and is under new ownership of course, so it does LOOK a whole lot better, but the courses, even though it's a huge improvement from Camelot (newness wise), were just boring and dull, nothing really exciting besides the one castle and water fountain and each hole was just as mediocre as the last. No real obstacles, nothing challenging, just a flop. And like I mentioned, it was hot, wish there would have been more shaded spots along the golf course route! Standing in the sun like that makes you miserable, I mean this is Bakersfield! Why not put up some big umbrellas along the course, maybe even some mist machines! Lol and build some more buildings! It's so bare out there! We were going to ride the go karts too, but noticed they make you wear a big hot helmet now, no thank you. I see they use Lysol spray to spray each helmet down for the next person, but still, that's just not something Im comfortable with. So we went inside and used the rest of our points on the arcade, specifically, the Mario kart racing, which ended up being the highlight of the day. Came on a Tuesday afternoon, so place wasn't crowded, staff was friendly enough, can't rate anything else as we left after the arcade. Maybe it would be more enjoyable not in the hot weather. Maybe one day I will try it out again, who knows!

Buffalo wings

I was so impressed with the upgrades to this place! Went here on a double date and was so glad our friends picked it. The new decor is so modern and current now and the food is way better. We got the cheeseburger sliders, the buffalo wings, tater tots, French fries and the pizza wheels. All of it tasted great and the prices were excellent. Service was good too. After dinner, we played mini golf. It was an easy process getting a ball from the vending machine but the blue one was broken causing my husband to double swipe thinking it didn't take it. Luckily we used the third swipe for our friends but they really need to put out of order signs if something is broken. We did the castle route and everything was well-kept. The ambiance was relaxing with the sound of running water and all the greenery. It looks more modern and not tacky as it did before the rebranding. Our friend also participated in throwing axes and he had a lot of fun. He played tic tac toe against someone else and it was a blast watching. I'll probably do it the next time I go back. Tip: check-in on Yelp and you get 25 free credits added to your playing card. Overall, great

Plus there is not enough places to sit while your kids enjoy themselves. The tables that are empty have reserved signs all over them when I'm not sure what they are reserved for as I didn't see anyone actually sit at one. Also the tables are filthy! I finally got tired of walking around looking for a seat and just sat down and about 5 minutes later I was asked if I was a part of a party and that if not I would need to move. I asked where I was supposed to sit and she told me it was first come first serve...ok then we're NOT off to a great first impression at all! So it's $22 for an all day jump. Meaning you get wristbands and can jump all day but you cannot leave and come back. Plus there is a $4 fee for socks that you HAVE to have to participate. There does seem to be lots of activities for the kids to get into. Also the wristbands are supposed to prevent anyone from being able to just walk out with your kids but I didn't scan anything and just walked right on out the door. Went into the women's restroom and was pleasantly surprised to see how clean it was but then I noticed there was no toilet paper or paper towels. There were however seat covers, but when I went to wash my hands the full soap dispenser would not dispense any soap. There doesn't seem to be a kitchen there but it says one is coming soon. You can order pizza, chicken or wedges that are delivered from a Round Table Pizza close by and it was actually pretty good. Overall this place is cool. There are a lot of kids just ripping and roaring all over so it's kind of a day care for tired parents, IF you can find a place to sit.

The last time I visited The BLVD was a few years ago and not a lot has changed since I last visited. I do have to say that this is a great place to hangout at for family or friends and even for a team building. I love video games, so arcades are definitely a must when I visit places that have arcades. I think the arcades are a bit outdated and they need better games. I don't think they are horrible, but I would love to see a better variety for all ages. I think bowling is a super fun idea and I would love to come back just for that to up my bowling skills. They have a good amount of lanes, so you can guarantee you'll be able to play. Food was good. They have a good variety of options even for vegans/vegetarians which is great because I know a lot of people that have food restrictions, but they also have a good variety for the others that don't have those restrictions. The place is nice and neat. My only complaint is the token system. You won't use 100% of the tokens you buy because the games are charged at different prices and I think they do that on purpose so we can keep refilling those game cards, other than that this is a great place if you're looking for something to do.

She was attentive, kind, and handled everything with such professionalism despite clearly being given a lot of responsibility. She truly stood out and made our experience better. I did notice that she was responsible for distributing food, handing out sodas and waters, and assisting guests all at once. It seemed like she was being pulled in many directions while other staff were not stepping in to support her. From a guest perspective, it felt like a missed opportunity -- not only for efficiency and service flow, but also for her personally. Alexis has the personality and skill set of a strong bartender, and it seemed like she wasn't being utilized in a way that allows her (or the business) to maximize her strengths or earning potential. She was essentially serving waters and sodas while having the ability to provide full bar service, which would benefit both her and the establishment. My intention in sharing this is truly positive. Alexis is a fantastic employee and clearly cares about the guests and the establishment. Supporting team members like her and ensuring responsibilities are balanced among staff would likely improve both customer experience and employee satisfaction. Thank you for taking the time to read this. I appreciate the effort that goes into running a busy place like yours and wanted to share feedback that I hope is helpful.

Place was not busy at all and there seemed to be 2 bartenders, two staff members, and one manger working. There are a few things I think would really help the business improve: To start off the customer service is below par, you don't get greeted or talked to unless you start the conversation off first. During our entire visit about 2.5 hours no one came and checked on us or ask us anything. Bartender was the only staff member who wore a smile and was extremely friendly throughout the visit. I would say some table touches by management or maybe having one person on the floor talking to people could not only generate more money but also better experiences. Usually I'm not the type to need most interactions when going places but this place definitely lacked it by a lot. Concerning the overall cleanliness of the building it also could have been a lot better. Restrooms were fairly clean but the tables themselves were very dirty as well as the booths. We had to ask twice for tables to be clean and ended up gathering them ourselves in order to sit down. The food was good though we ordered two pizzas some pitchers of soda and beer and some nachos. I do believe they should have a wider selection of food sold but I know most of the time that doesn't really fall on the management but more so the actual corporation. Price was also not too bad for food. For the actual bowling it was really fun I paid about $120 for about 7 people to bowl with shoes included apparently it was a special and you can bowl until they close. The equipment seemed really really old though I think this place is due for a remodel. The pins would fall on their own with no ball in sight, the balls would not go into the chute and instead roll back on the actual lane and get stuck and at times the whole system would just freeze and during those intense moments where we were trying to crown a winner the experience is just ruined. Overall the atmosphere was alright there were about 5 other family and they bunched us all up in the same booths instead of spreading everyone around to give people more space. The music was okay and the place didn't really scream fun. I think this place had lots of potential despite the age of the building by just tweaking a couple things which would make everyone's experience that much more enjoyable. Will I be back soon? Maybe not. Do I want to be back? Of course. Given there is basically no places in town like this I think this place has lots of room for improvement.
