I simply wanted to know if they have a fee structure and if they work hourly or on a flat fee. The first person that answered the phone cut me off mid sentence and told me that they would send me to the intake department that would have me fill out several forms and send me something via email. They sent me to the intake department and I couldn't ask any questions without giving them a plethora of information. I told them that I didn't want to give them a bunch of information. I just wanted to know about their fees and services that launched a monologue where they were reading something why they need to collect my name, phone email, address etc....nothing to do with fees nothing to do with services just about why they had to take all this information in order to give me a simple answer. What an incredibly frustrating situation I assume if they talk over you and can't answer a question, I think you got the wrong Attorney.

Did not see/review document downloads given the 1st week of January, providing important documents and all the easement language. This cost us dearly when engaging opposing counsel. 3. They never answered our day 1 question we would ask and ask every month "Can they do this"? 4. Proposed uninformed expensive losing strategies over and over. Litigation, a $10K+ a day arbitration, a 2 year delay strategy. 5. Represented an opposing counsel offer that never existed and got 2 more months out of us. 6. Then he fired us when we pushed back when it was clear there was no offer. We were in a really tough spot and needed their help but felt we were treated like an ATM which is one thing but the poor lawyering and accusations made our situation much worse. We ultimately received a partial refund and apology. We are happy to move on

His sympathetic ear was heavily chew on and he became a trusted counselor and strong voice of reason in a emotionally charged situation. If you look into his background it stands to reason why his counseling nurturing nature makes you feel at ease. More then once instead of going with, "yes, you are right this is not fair and you should fight it!" (because it would make him a butt load of money) he constantly put my best interest first. He explained possible outcomes (this case had so, so many moving parts, grey areas, abusive entitled acting relatives), explained the cost/reward for each and was empathetic enough to make sure I analyzed the emotional cost factor. His logical practical approach is highly valuable and he is pretty meticulous in research and he will let you know when he does not know the answer but he find it out. (She wasn't interested in running the clock until she fully knew our situation.) After we reached out to her, she first asked to see the lease agreement. And then, after fully reviewing, she gave a return call that very same night (yes, she's on it!), quickly identifying our best possible options. Although she felt we had a terrific shot at winning a case against our retaliatory landlord on law/principle alone, she suggested that we not pursue court/legal action because the attorneys would more than likely be the only ones to be financially compensated at the end of the day. Tough to hear but good to know. Truly refreshing candor!
