Holiday Inn Express & Suites North East - Pancake maker was incredible - fresh, fluffy stack with a press of a button

Perfect spot for a mini-getaway with the family (young kids)…read more Decent price! Definitely affordable especially compared with other hotels. Comfortable rooms and a shower with decent water pressure (not always easy to come by). Loved that they have Dove products - handwash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, lotion. Forgot my toothbrush and they had a complimentary one at the front desk. Yes, a cheapy one, but it's better than having a "fuzzy" mouth. And I mean they have a swirly water slide! Loved that the water wasn't deeper than ~ 3 1/2 feet. There's a bonus pool too in a room that's separate from the kid area too. Oh, and the breakfast. A bit more than your average hotel b-fast buffet. Loved the machine where you press a button, it pours batter, and pops out fresh, fluffy pancakes in a minute. So not five-star rating in terms of a luxurious hotel, but a fantastic spot for an easy, low-cost trip with the kids.

Terrible stay…read more First, the good. The front desk staff was kind. That's it. They were unable to refund any of my stay however, and thus ineffective. Now I've seen dirtier hotels, but therein lies the problem. This hotel is sneaky dirty. The rug looks vacuumed but feels like it has a film on it. The room looks clean but it stank of body order. The door inside lock had clearly been banged off before suggesting we were in the ghetto. The sheets reek of bleach so much you'll wake up with a headache (assuming you can sleep). Speaking of smells, the chlorine smell is so strong when you enter the lobby it blows you over. Clean pools don't smell that way. Dirty pools they are trying to pretend they are clean do. Now our biggest issue was there a couple rooms on our floor occupied by a dance team of maybe 10 year olds and one "parent". "Parent" however did nothing of the sorts. Thea kids ran wild until midnight. The girls ran up and down the halls, screeching, laughing, hollering hours past quiet hour. Newsflash, I stopped here right off the highway to sleep, not party. They were slamming doors and knocking and making it impossible for anyone to sleep on that floor. When we called the front desk they told us others had called too. Eventually the noise stopped but we should have been compensated at this point. We got maybe 3 hours sleep before having to hit the road again. At this point I realized I can't stay in this chain again. Their client service model is not good enough. I'm too old to save a buck on dirty rooms in systems that don't care about their customers. Buyer beware in this one.

We stayed in the Foote suite, which was decorated in very soft yellow curtains and comforter. It also included two small chandeliers with adjustable lighting. The bathroom looked completely renovated with comfortable tiling and a nice big shower. We also purchased the lunch package which included two sandwiches, a choice of side, water bottles and cookie! It also included everything you need for the beach; towels, chairs, umbrella, blankets and books! We loved our lunch and looking for sea glass. We would recommend this place to anyone looking for a quiet get away, or anniversary celebration!

We arrived right at 3 for our check in and received a warm welcome from Lesley complete with a review of the property and tour of the space. Very helpful to know where everything is right away! Plus - a welcome cocktail and sweet bread was waiting for us! Delicious! The room: we stayed in La Due, which had an amazingly comfortable king bed, ceiling fan, and tub/shower combo. No detail goes unnoticed in the room, the towels are soft and match the floor rugs beautifully. Robes are available for guests and plenty of outlet space for charging is around the room. A note to visitors: the shared refrigerator for guests is only a mini-fridge, so there isn't much storage space. We'd suggest planning ahead and bringing a cooler for any larger items you wanted to store - or calling ahead to see about options. When we wanted to chill champagne, Lesley was wonderful to assist us with an ice bucket and two glasses! I highly recommend a trip here - friendly, relaxing, and so comfortable!

I have been skiing here for years with no problem until now: my brand new $1300 skis were stolen from the racks outside the first aid station and rental area. I stepped inside for 10 minutes to change in the locker room and when I returned, they were missing. I spoke to management as well as security of Peek'n Peak. They informed me that this happens "all the time" and they do not have security cameras for the outside of the property. Security told me that they will "show back up". They did not. It is 2026 and the most populated area of their ski resort lacks cameras? This is highly dangerous and irresponsible of this resort. Management and members of the security team were of no help. They took my name and phone number. That's one thing if I was missing my mittens; these were $1300 skis. Shame on this resort, their lack of security, and terrible customer service. I had to cut my day short while I waited for the police to show up and file a report. I will not be coming back to this resort ever again after many long years of giving them business.

I'd still stay here again for sure. We absolutely loved the pool (although hated the price of the drinks at the pool bar, and of course couldn't bring in your own). Pool had a nice slide and the water was amazing. We snagged the last table and were able to at least sit there and eat our lunch. Only major downside about this resort is the food. It's mediocre at best. We ate at the Gazebo Grill (this was the better of the 2 places we ate at). And we ate at the Bistro 210. I don't know that I'd eat at the bistro again. The manager was nice enough to give us a percentage off our meals, because we were all so disappointed. But still, it wasn't the greatest experience. Overall, I'd recommend this place. For families as well. There's tons to do--most of which we didn't have time for. But a reason to return I guess!

We've stayed here on numerous occasions and it's always clean with a friendly staff. The breakfast,…read morewhile not at a five-star hotel rating, is still very good. Albeit, the view from the front offers little more than Walmart, and the view out the back is marginally better, the stat itself is mostly quiet, which is what I look for in a hotel. You won't get many "views" in Corry; unless you count Walmart or a cow pasture. My only complaint from today is that, while the hotel was only at 50% capacity, we still managed to find ourselves below a room of rambunctious kids, which wasn't exactly best for a good night's sleep. We probably would have called the front desk had our two-month-old not been trying to sleep. We'll certainly stay here again in the future. UPDATE: Another stay in the hotel and so far things are going smoothly. The front desk clerk quickly jumped on salting the sidewalk after we mentioned that it was getting a little slick from the freezing rain. The rooms were pretty clean, save the stray ladybug that found its way in somehow. We never leave here with anything negative to say.

Cobblestone Inn in Corry, Pa is a place I stay at about 3 times a year when visiting family. You're…read morelimited in the area on where to stay unless you go to Findley Lake or Erie. Corry is close to my relatives. In the past 4 years, I've had issues with bed bug bites, a hotel fire/smoke issue May 2023 and the most recent, overcharge issues by a lot from the hotel. The management team needs to be better trained to handle customers. The manager Megan was nice, but offered no apologies for our recent stay December 30-January 1. I was charged over 300 for the 3 nights stay and then 207 additional has been pending since we checked in. My daughter, was also charged for her stay and has over 300 in pending charges still on her account after 6 days. We both tried calling the hotel numerous times to resolve this and nobody answered. Even Hotels.com tried to call them, same thing. Cobblestone Reservations and Hotels.com sent them emails to respond to us and nothing. Finally, after numerous attempts, I got the manager Megan today. She was nice, but only offered excuses and never once said, "I'm sorry you weren't informed, I'm sorry this happened, I'm sorry you weren't aware". Nothing. They offer no housekeeping unless you stay more than 3 days, the workout room was freezing (to cold for any workout), they offer no streaming or pay per view options for guests and though it was clean, we've had issues with bed bugs in the past that I reported to the hotel, and at the time, the guy who was managing was rude and stated they don't have an issue with them. Clearly the bites were proof enough for me! I had many! They had a small fire/smoke issue back in the laundry facility when I stayed Memorial Day weekend 2023 and offered nothing to the guests for having been outside in the damp night air for a couple of hours and then now, we get ridiculously overcharged on our rooms. I asked the manager where I could write to management at their hotel and she gave me the general email address for the hotel. She was the manager!!!! Then I asked who she reported to and she stated they don't have a Regional or District manager. They report to some property management place called Diamond! What kind of hotel chain doesn't have a District or Regional Manager! This place has so much potential if they just get a management team that can manage and handle customer service. If they started by answering their phones, that would be great.
