The menu has a fair fair variety, but I'm extremely impressed with the amount of very traditional Chinese dishes which were included there.
The quality is food is very unstable. There are dishes which you can tell have not been made with fresh ingredients, and some which tasted rather delicious. I was utterly displeased with the quality of the desserts I ordered there. They were not cold enough as they were all lukewarm and supposed to be served cold normally and tasted vile. Some of them were way too sweet for anyone to consume, and the milk had definitely gone off. I went home with a very upset stomach in the end. The food was definitely very pricey for me, only a few dishes costed me nearly £100, along with the terrible desserts which were at least £4.50 each served in a tiny little bowl.
The service was fairly okay. The waitor was polite enough and tried to be as quick as he could with my orders. However the cutlery provided was a little strange and hard to handle. E.g. Rice served in a medium bowl with a large wooden spoon that you use for cooking? And the tiny little teaspoons for the desserts. The dishes were served incredibly separately, so that nothing at all came together. It was served in a slightly strange way.
You can slightly tell it really isn't a popular restaurant, as I went there on a Friday night and the entire restaurant only consisted 3 groups of customers.
For definite, I won't be returning to this restaurant ever again. read more
