Food was fifteen minutes to cook, and we got a pretty huge order, and came with free prawn crackers. They always get our order perfect, without fail, despite us being a little picky- i always request extra sauce and have to ask for one of our meals to be without onions. The food comes out in a cardboard box if your order is big enough, and everything comes in plastic tubs which you can reuse and never leak! The food is so good I always order extra so that I can snack on them for a few days. Great takeaway, comfortable waiting area with sofas and magazines and lovely staff!

It's a lesson in not judging a book by its cover, though, because the food is actually pretty good. In my view, if every plate is clean at the end of a meal, it tells you all you need to know about the food, and this is the case here We were there as part of a large party (19), and had the all-you-can-eat dinner; no-one ordered off the menu, the food arrived and just kept coming. It's fairly standard Chinese fare, but it doesn't have that overly-"chemical" flavour of MSG that puts me off in other places (perhaps that also explains why I ate so much, too....!) The bill worked out at £27/person, which I thought was pretty reasonable considering the number of drinks it included on top of the great food. Certainly worth a visit.

Whyyyyyy oh whyyyy did we do this? After a really long day at work and being too exhausted to cook…read moredinner my husband suggested we go to the chip shop. He doesn't even like fish, but we went anyway. The place is a very small and unassuming little shack, but inside lies a variety of delicious fried items sure to clog your arteries. I looked at the menu and debated the cod (there was also Haddock and Plaice) but for some odd reason I went with a spicy chicken burger and chips. My husband normally goes for the sausage but decided to get the double cheeseburger. I have to say, both of our sandwiches looked really sad but the chips were perfect. We probably should have stuck with traditional items, but it was fine in the end. When we got home my hair smelled like I was deep fried also. The end.

THIS PLACE HAD THE BEST INDIAN FOOD ANY OF OUR PARTY OF 4 HAVE EVER EATEN. We could not figure out how the restaurant isn't more popular, but needless to say it is a hidden gem that deserves more patrons. We had the vegetable samosas, chicken tikka, chicken korma, small mixed grill, lamb karahe, rice, and both garlic/cheese naan. All of it was excellent though my personal favorite was the chicken korma and I'm only sad I wasn't the one who ordered the korma. After MK we stayed in London and tried Dishoom (which has a line down the street for hours every night), and while it was good it did not come close to the quality (or quantity) of dishes at Sizzling Grillz. This place is very affordable as well and easily worth the 36min ride on the rail from London to check out as it is just outside the train station entrance in MK. We hope to come back to the UK just to visit this place.

The only thing I really liked was the naan bread which was like a crumpet sort of thing and it was nice and soft warm and earthy and felt like home. I got a chicken tikka masala for my main, but it was just not spicy enough and it didn't really have the chicken tikka feeling to it A chicken tikka is meant to be a nice orange curry, but this one was bright bright bright red and the sauce was just god-awful I know I didn't get just a chicken tikka, which is basically just a red chicken because mine had sauce and the lot and I even said it was a masala I also checked the bill and it said it was a masala I will be returning, but maybe for a different dish!

I note placed on the table says please ONLY TIP IN CASH to make sure the staff gets all of the money, do they mean to avoid tax ? or so the management can keep the money? anyway I didn't tip as there was no service I had sweet and sour chicken balls which were excellent, but for £10 they should be; most places now sell frozn chicken balls that have little pieces of chicken surrounded by big lump of greasy doe, in fairness, that was not the case here
