Was really worried when I ordered this gazebo off of Wayfair and paid for the build via Angie's list, but found that they(Wayfair or Angie's list unsure who) were ripping off the actual contractors and keeping most of the money for themselves based off of one interaction that I had with a contractor so I canceled that service with Wayfair/Angi's List and decided to find a contractor on my own, which was a little stressful and YELP save the day ! Extremely happy with this company! Super professional they showed up on time with multiple workers. There were always two people working on the gazebo build. They worked so hard and fast. The quality was great. They didn't leave any trash or debris. They did an amazing job I 10 out of 10. Recommend this company! read more

I had them come out to give me a quote to see if I could move my attic access. After looking at it and taking pictures in the attic then discussing with their crew, I was given solid advice about it being unable to be done the way we wanted. I really appreciated the honesty and the straightforward nature of the exchange. They didn't lie to me or try to get money out of me for something that wasn't possible. Even though we didn't use them for this project and decided not to go forward with trying to do it at all, I will definitely contact them in the future for other projects we want done. read more

Recoated my roof top deck, looks better then new. Repaired crack in stucco wall to perfection. Highly recommend. Clean, courteous, timely, overall a great experience with this business. Work completed for the cost exceeds my expectations! read more

I met with Lucas Hernandez yesterday the owner and we agreed on a price to repair drywall in my living room ceiling. One of his workers showed up today with no drop cloths for my marble and oak floors . The worker was very nice but not a tradesman as he didn't show up with the appropriate tools and supplies to do the job . I told him to go to Home Depot to get drip clothes and Lucas called me telling me he's not going to finish the job unless he gets more money ! Beware of the guy he's a con artist ! read more

Lucas gets one star for being nice and always on time, but the work was sub-par. He needed to take notes when we did our initial walk-through. He did not pass on details of what I asked for in the paint job such as removing all hardware before painting, did not re-texture where I asked, and the patches they did were visible afterwards. There was paint on many of the mirror edges, ceiling edges, paint splatters on the floor, paint on the door thresh hold and weather stripping, and did a horrible job of painting the gate to the backyard. Their attention to detail was poor! read more

Something flaky about this company, they can never give you a quote and always want your address, slim-shady!

This company definitely is interesting since I met Lucas in person regarding my landscaping job. Apparently the companies that are with this one are owned and operated by Lucas and I'm not sure about his support staff. ( there are currently over 10 services offered) Plumbing , sprinklers , Stucco, painting and electrical. I definitely am impressed with this handyman service and will most likely hire for stucco repair and painting my home. They do have a regular business license with the city and they do not have a general contracting license but we all know that not every job requires a general contractor's license. I do know that I genuinely felt comfortable with Lucas he let me know that the talent pool he has do have many experiences is immeasurable wealth of information and Skills. read more

My experience was not a good one. The roofers use the wrong material didn't fix the leak on my roof and then I had other roofers. Tell me that they did everything wrong on the roof. They didn't use the right materials and then when I did have work for them they couldn't even speak a language barrier and they wouldn't give my refund back and I don't recommend them at all read more

I had called for a quote and they had someone at the location the next day available. They were honest about the work, expectations and timeframe. I had had other estimates and they had tried to steer me towards some crazy cost. I'm glad they were straight forward about their quote and pricing. Quote was immediately promptly and work was completed within a couple of days of requesting repairs. read more

pleased with service. quick response and very reasonable in addition to outstanding service. would definitely use again.

Efficient, caring of stated problems and how to repair. No up charging, reliable for start and completion of job.

Extremely satisfied with the work performance provided by this company. They were thorough, on time and responsive. We were looking for a company that would install 7 bathroom faucets. I quickly received a quote that was without the typical response of having to be charged for an in home estimate. One of the seven faucets that was purchased from Lowes was defective, and the Mayans went all the way back to Lowe's with my receipt to return it and had speak to the manager to get the defective faucet replaced. They then installed faucet number seven to our satisfaction. Very happy with them and have already recommended them to our close friends. Best price and great work! Lucas, the supervisor is awesome!!!! read more

This company came out right away and provided a fair proposal. Unfortunately I could not find they were licensed at the contractors board and they do not publish their license number on their business card or website. I decided to go with another vendor for that reason. I gave them a 3 for prompt proposal on time, pictures of damage to be repaired and fair pricing. read more

I feel I made mistake of hiring Mayans Repair and handymen I paid them $2400 to repair my roof from leaking they had come out twice to fix my roof and still couldn't fix the leak in my roof in fact they it they made it worse by than before hiring them I feel the workers were incompetent and didn't really have qualified skills to do the job. Plus it was hard communicating with them because they couldn't speak English and they always had to talk to their boss as a middleman no I'm out $2400 and my roof still leaks go figure read more

So pleased with the roofing maintenance service. The crew was prompt, professional, and did a great job. My roof is in great shape now!

They were very responsive and fixed our roof promptly at a reasonable price. They provided pictures before and after as well

Reasonable, efficient, rapid response for roof tile replacement. Have not tried other services such as painting etc.

This company was prompt on their initial response. They arrived on time to give me a quote which I thought was a bit high and didn't include the repair of the roof inside from the leak on the roof. I did not receive the quote in writing. read more

Response was immediately finished next day quality work . Will definitely use again great service dependable.

I had requested a couple of quotes from different people to have my shingles on my roof repaired due to the very high winds we've had and The Mayans Construction & Handyman was the only one that responded to my request for a quote. They were very accommodating in scheduling an estimate and repairs as both my husband & I work. They were very professional and not too expensive. I would definitely use this company again! read more

They are the most expensive. So I am going with a different company. They came to the house and look at the roof. They show up on time.

We requested an estimate for gutter installation. Lucas called and was able to come out the next day and provide a very affordable estimate for the project. He was there that Saturday and was done within a few hours. We were extremely happy and satisfied with the job and when Lucas let us know about other services, we reached out again about painting our outside windows. Mayans Construction also completed that project and again, we were very happy with the results and the affordable price. I would definitely recommend them and will reach out again. Thank you! read more

Came right out, quoted price, showed up next day and they did a wonderful job. Very pleased.

I thought their price was high for the requested job. However, they were quick to respond and very prompt and efficient.
