As timeless poet Meredith Brooks once said, it's "a little bit of everything all rolled into one." We stopped by to fill up on ice cream and smell the decorative candles in the home goods section. You know, just girl things. Climbing around in/on archaeological sites all day can really work up an appetite. This is a fun place to shop! So many things, and so many bargains! Yes, the exchange rate is good right now. I ended up saying no to more candles as I was on a mission NOT to check my bag on the way back to where I came from. I didn't say no to ice cream though. A dozen sprinkle choices is not something I am used to, and it made me feel spoiled. The beer selection was also a thing of beauty, with many local brews to choose from. Non-Alcoholic is not synonymous with nasty in Sweden. What a paradise. Seriously, can't wait to go back! Lastly, let me just cover the fact that I wish we had little shopping baskets on rollers with long handles like they did in this giant store. So convenient! read more
