I was also in a world of pain and hoping to have an easier labor than with my first child. I found Dr. MacDonald by researching local doctors who are able to work with pregnant women (and children!) and I couldn't be more happy. He is a family man himself and knows the ins and outs of parenthood and wanting what's best for your body and your children's bodies too. I strongly believe my adjustment with him and opening up my pelvis/hip area more helped me have a much better labor & delivery experience! We saw the Dr after I gave birth as well and soon will be taking our kids to see him. Each room in the clinic is themed around the patient. There's a maternity area and the bed is comfortable and movable to make things safe for moms, and my favorite is the kids room. There's toys and themed decor so it's perfect for the little ones! My wife surprised me by purchasing a massage for me here at 10 O'Clock Health and Wellness. I was slightly nervous because I recently had surgery a few weeks ago, to repair a broken bone from a fall. I wasn't sure if it would be a great idea to lay flat with my injury because I have been sleeping on my side ever since the accident. My appointment was with Cailen and I mentioned my concerns to her when I arrived. She was very friendly and welcoming. She explained that my wound would not be a huge obstacle in getting a massage. She politely explained that she would be able to support me laying flat, by providing support to that area of my body, with a folded towel or two. She reassured me that she could work around my injury. I was nervous and proceeded anyway. It ended up working out very well for me, thanks to Cailen's knowledge, professionalism, and comforting care. The massage I received was INCREDIBLE! The relaxing and hypnotic music gently playing in the background transported me to another time and place. The gentle, yet firm and physical massage I got was just what I needed! All of my problems, worries, anxieties, or any stress I was holding on to completely vanished and hasn't returned yet, thank goodness. I honestly feel like a different person after coming here. It's difficult to put into words how my experience on the table/bed was somehow transformative. I don't know how else to describe it. This place provided me with a healing experience I was not prepared for. The facility is very clean and serene. The feng shui of this joint is spectacular! Everything in the building is inspiring and works well together. The octopus motif is very peaceful and inviting. The colors used in the rooms for decoration go well together and are beautifully selected. The venue is set up perfectly for this type of service.
