If you're looking for a nice friendly small business to support, this is the place. The building is very enchanting as it looks like you've stepped into a time warp to the early 1900's with all of the old hardwood, tall ceilings and old pharmaceutical bottles displayed on shelves around the parameters.
The pharmacist and owner is also American which is a perk if you'd like to speak about drugs in English. However, she has lived in Germany for a VERY long time so unless you start speaking English to her she will be speaking fluent German (as she does will probably 99% of the customers).
They usually have what I am looking for about 75% of the time on stock. However the other 25% of the time she usually has to "order" it but then it comes in that same day just a few hours later so it's usually not a big deal at all. If for some reason I don't have time to come back later then there is always the possibility to walk down to the big Apotheke at Kurfürstenplatz which usually has everything on stock.
I think there is a 25 euro minimum to pay with a card so it's good to have cash available as well.
