Make this your first and last bridal salon! Max Bridal is a hidden gem, and I cannot rave enough about my experiences there. Although they didn't have the exact dress I *thought* I wanted, Courtney (amazingly patient and knowledgeable and nice and honest) and Amy (one of their managers - all of the above adjectives too!) found some similar styles for me to try on. Since I was open to trying all different styles, they started pulling some fit and flare dresses that I never thought I could wear, and I found my gown! I had another appointment later that day at another bridal salon, and I never felt pressured by anyone at Max Bridal to purchase the dress that I knew was the one! It's not even worth mentioning how disappointing my other bridal salon experience was. Love how Max Bridal only takes one appointment at at time. They let you take pictures, which is super important! I thought I loved one dress when I had it on, but when I looked at the pictures, I really didn't like it at all! They also have a comfy couch for seating for you family and friends (which the other bridal salon did not). It is a smaller salon, but they have so many gowns, so don't let that deter you from making an appointment here! I also had my bridesmaids purchase their dresses here, and Jillian was so patient with my indecisiveness about picking out 4 different colors for the same dress for my girls. I honestly think I spent more time picking out the colors for my bridesmaids than picking out my own gown! My dress fitting appointments with Ines were great as well. She was always on time and did a great job! Ines is nice and honest...I trusted her when she said my gown should be a touch tighter just below my butt (I didn't want it), but she was right, and I looked AMAZING on my wedding day! I never had trouble with parking, but just some tips: leave extra time to park on street. Otherwise, there is street parking on Banbury Road, which is a block north of the store. Also, there is a metered lot on the corner of Banbury and Mineola Blvd. So, what are you waiting for? Make that appointment with Courtney and you won't be disappointed! read more

I visited this boutique and it is was such a great experience. I worked with Amy who was so sweet, patient, and professional. I went to Max Bridal specifically to check out the Ti Adora trunk show but I was able to try on other dresses as well. They have a great selection and prices are very fair. The salon has a very intimate environment and you get personalized attention. I'm so sad I didn't end up getting my dress here because Amy was so fantastic. Max Bridal far exceeded my expectations. The salon itself was not only beautiful but extremely clean and well maintained. From the moment you walk in, they require you to sanitize and have your temperature taken to ensure everyone's safety. From there, myself and my two guests had a private bridal suite that we spent the duration of our visit in. I couldn't have asked for a better bridal attendant.. Julie was a total professional. She was extremely kind and had a great sense of humor.. my family and I had such a fun time working with her! I went into the day not having much of a vision which made me a little nervous but Julie assured me that was no problem at all and she was absolutely right. She helped me find a gown that was more beautiful than I could have imagined! We ended our visit with some great photos being taken by Julie and an adorable gift bag filled with bridal goodies. Max Bridal was the first bridal shop I went to. Melissa was my attendant and I thought she was GREAT. She really listened to what I wanted and my budget. Because of COVID, I only brought my mom, but she made us feel very comfortable. Everyone was in masks, we had to sanitize before we came in, and only one group (of 3 or less) was allowed in the lobby at once. They also sanitize the dresses before someone tries them on. I didn't purchase a dress on my first time shopping, and I did not feel pressured AT ALL. I went to another store and then went back to Max's to see Melissa. I showed her a dress I liked at the other store and told her I wanted to try it on with the one I liked previously. I made my decision to buy the dress that I came in liking from the other store, but I went back to Max's because of the attention and care Melissa showed me. Hi! I am not sure if you guys can help me with this! I have had a horrible experience at Max Bridal in syosset, NY. To make a long story short I went to max bridal in September and ordered my dream wedding dress. They advised me to order a size up due to my chest size. I agreed. I paid half of the dress to place the order as they required. When I went to pick up the dress in January when it arrived in the store, it was wayyyy too tight around that "area" everywhere else was fine. They insisted that I must have gained weight but I didn't. I have actually been going to the drs for something and their records would show that I lost weight. Anyways, I explained to them how I was not happy with the dress and they ensured me that they would make it work and everything would be ok and advised me "not to gain weight". I really felt sick to my stomach and took the dress home. I have been dieting and working out trying to make the dress fit making myself sick but I cannot get the chest area down. It's just how my body is. I brought in my dress this week to meet with the seamstress who advised me there's nothing she can do. If she lets out seams in the front it will ruin the fitted style of the top of the dress. I was so mislead by Max Bridal. I went to another boutique named Blu Rayne in Commack and pretended I was looking for a dress. They said they would order me a size 3 sizes bigger than max bridal ordered and measured me for. I am beyond sick. And with the medical issues my doctor told me not to stress out but I have honestly been crying every day. I do not have the money to buy another dress. I have called multiple times to speak with the manager and they will not return my call. I dont understand how someone can run a business like this. I don't even want my money back all I want is the right size for my body. Again, I would understand and take full responsibility if I gained weight etc from when I first placed the order but I did not. It is crazy to me that they could do this to someone. The dress is not even on the higher end of dresses as it is $2,000. All I want is a size that is appropriate. It is extremely unfair to expect someone to starve themselves to get into a dress when they messed up and ordered the wrong size. today I spoke with the manager who would not help me and insisted that I stated I gained weight and never expressed any concern with the dress. I did not gain any weight so I find that highly offensive. she also stated I never showed any concern over the dress. Umm, then why would I bring it in for a random check up on my own? This was the third stop in my search for a dress and to say that I was starting to feel defeated is an understatement... that is until I found this bridal salon. My consultant Celia was so incredibly kind and knowledgeable and made me feel completely at ease. She asked all the right questions and truly listened when I explained what I was looking for. All of the other ladies there were also so kind and helpful, making this experience more than I could have ever hoped for. Since I got engaged, I have been to three bridal shops. After a terrible experience at a huge place in Manhasset with the pushiest salespeople ever, my best friend (and bridesmaid) recommended Max Bridal to me. She told me it's a small, intimate setting, the salespeople are sweet and calm, and they have the dresses in the price range I was looking for (up to $3000, but much preferably closer to $2000). The first time I went it was admittedly a little busy because it was a weekend appointment, but I did find an assortment of dresses that I liked. One especially caught my eye, enough so to make another appointment a month or so later (on a weekday) with my mom. Tried on that same dress, they took me to the front of the store to get the natural light... and voilà. I had my first look at my future wedding dress :) The ladies who helped me (Amanda at the first appointment and Chelsea at the second) were extremely helpful, listened to what I wanted, had good input, and most importantly were not pushy or aggressive about trying to get me to buy a dress. Run and find another Bridal Salon! I have been in Retail for over 45 years,and was hoping for Sales and Professional Experience here as we as a team had always delivered in my stores. What started off to be a nice and wonderful experience turned into a spiral vortax of an uncomfortable situation! Julie who was great in the start ended up to be a rude sales hungry commission associate! She put us in an uncomfortable situation when my hand didn't pull out the credit card for a down payment. Julie stated to me your daughter loved the dress the smiles and tears showed you how much she loved it, why do you need to go to another salon and where was I planning to go Kleinfelds..... and continued to prob to find out where my appointments were. I must tell you run if your appointment is with her! Julie put a positive situation into a negative. Instead of giving us space, Julie stated, I will put back these other dresses and didn't us an opportunity to speak privately. She continued to walk in between our conversation and ease drop on it. She was hungry for the sale and not be understanding to our situation. Go get the veil at a different location we only give 10% off. Yikes... instead of working on a price for the dress you are sending somewhere else for the veil! The next day while looking on line, I found out that there would be Trunk Shows for the designer we were interested in and different locations offered a great discount. Well I waited for the Store Manager Ailene to contact me back since she needed authorization from the owner to see if she could do the same. 24 hours went by and still no word from the Store Manager. I had to contact her 2 times today as she indicated she was busy in store meetings and came in late. As she indicated she would only be able to do 10% off. While other Bridal Salons offered other additional % off on other items as well we weren't given any other addiotional compensation. We weren't a priority and needless to say she could not do better on the price as another store could. For all that transpired, I guess they don't want to work with customers and don't need the business or to be professional either! Your special time for a Wedding should be just that! This review is really in regards to the manager and customer service. I first went to the store and a lovely girl from Virgins helped me she actually pulled the dress I ended up picking! This is when the issue started. I went back to the store to get my veil only to see it had closed down! First thought was to panic. I then called and found out they had moved to Syosset not a phone call or email nothing was told they posted on social media! I was told my estimated ship date was the 18th (this was about 2 weeks prior). I then get a phone call that my dress was just taken out of a box miraculously! We go the next day and I ask to speak to a manager who did apologize, but barely and kept saying they couldn't possibly call everyone ( I work in a restaurant and call 500 reservations in a few hours you must certainly could have) or better yet send an email!!! We then order the veil and they say it will be in in a few weeks I called Wednesday to see ship date and was told it had been there since the weekend so the bride is supposed to call not the store when something arrives! Beyond disappointed in this stores customer service. So happy I did alterations elsewhere! read more

My bridal consultant, Amanda, was just absolutely lovely, positive and attentive (as was her co-worker, Seon, who provided additional emotional support and second opinions). I loved everything about this place! 1. I was able to look at dresses I liked on their Pinterest board to make sure there would be styles of dresses and designers I liked there. I emailed them the dress numbers before I even went in to see if they were in stock which was AWESOME. 2. Reasonably priced dresses. Apparently they sell at the lowest retail price the designer will allow them to. 3. GORGEOUS and large selection of dresses without being overwhelming 4. My bridal assistant Chelsea was awesome!!! Do not waste your time here! When I was looking for wedding dresses, the staff was extremely rude so I didn't bother. Thank God I didn't waste my time going there because now I am a bridesmaid and the bride chose to get the dresses there. The store manger is nasty and impatient. She is not understanding and does not accommodate requests. The dresses are ridiculously over priced. Their store hours run like a doctors office. You have to take a day off just to try something on. They are way better and bigger stores who don't over charge and treat you with respect and common courtesy. DO NOT SHOP HERE! After leaving this post the manager of the shop decided to respond. So to clarify this is not a last minute request. The dress just came in and it needs to be tried on. I work full time and cannot take time off to try on a dress. Your shop moved further into Long Island from the time we purchased the dress and there is no way for me to get there during the week. I cannot wait until next week because the wedding is too soon. So instead of being accommodating and saying let's work with you and try to help you, the manager was extremely rude and not offering any solutions. It only shows that this establishment only cares about making money. The dress was paid in full and now they don't want to help. Just know that word of mouth travels very well and all the brides I know will never shop at your store! Thank you for taking the time out to make a baseless reply. Fantastic store with excellent customer service unlike some other bridal stores I visited (RK bridal). We had our own suite with a curtained off area for changing and a couch for the guests, which was so much more private than having to walk outside of the room to the middle of the store to look at your dress. The selection was not huge but I found the highest selection of dresses I actually liked. The consultant was attentive, fun, and pulled out the stunner gown, which I ended up buying, after I showed her a picture of a dress that I liked the most at other bridal stores. I was pretty adamant that I was looking for a dress with sleeves in an A-line silhouette, but I felt very pushed towards dresses that I did not feel comfortable in, and that I was told could, or should not be altered to be more like what I wanted. The dress they chose were extremely beautiful, within my price, and did incorporate some elements that I liked, but overall, I felt that my personal taste was over-ruled. I was beyond pleasantly surprised by what I found at Max Bridal. I felt welcome immediately and the consultant Seon was so friendly and knowledgable. She pulled great dresses for me and also let me look around and pick out what I wanted. Seon was so patient and accommodating and I never once felt rushed or like I was burdening her in any way. I had a very clear vision of what I wanted for my wedding gown, and though I didn't find the perfect dress for me at Max Bridal, I found a very warm staff and many dresses that fit my style. I made a last minute (day-of) appointment after hating everything I was seeing from four other bridal shops, and was surprised by how nice Courtney and Jillian were. Jillian didn't even mind that my sister had to bring my 8-month-old niece to the shop since it was such a last minute appointment. She listened to me when I told her all of my criteria and actually picked out dresses that I really liked. She gave honest opinions, but wasn't pushy at all, and genuinely wanted to make me happy, comfortable and look my best. I would highly recommend this shop to any bride.
