The arena is a stadium but seems that the German speaking population tends to call them arenas from time to time. Regardless, this one can hold just over 7,500 spectators which means that by big club stadiums, it isn't very big. Being a soccer fanatic and visiting as many stadiums and attending as many games as possible, I really did like this one.
I caught a game on a freezing cold October afternoon where the snow started to come down during half time. The atmosphere was amazing and showed that the locals really do love their team.
As for getting good food and drinks in a clean, warm environment, this one perhaps lacks for those spoiled with usual comfortable surroundings. There really weren't many places to keep warm. I bought the most expensive ticket, which was about 15 euros, and this gave me access to the main tribune and just outside it there was a big canvas/tent over the one particular area where they served food and drink. Now I'm used to Belgium where you get a beer and some french fries or greasy burgers. This place had beer (a local one), warm wine and even tea with rum! Food-wise, there were the traditional sausages and some other delicious things that I didn't get the name of.
The team won, 3-1, I froze for a while but had a great time!
