I found Bob Ward's by searching Yelp and decided to check it out. It was very busy and they had a great sale going on. They carry so many items for all sorts of outdoor activities -- clothing, hunting gear, backpacks, water bottles, hiking shoes, layers like jackets and leggings, and so much more. I was able to find everything we needed, which was a huge relief. I was also able to order a few additional things I'd forgotten online and pick them up in the store the next day! Very glad that this place exists and I would definitely recommend checking it out if you need gear.

I was greeted by the owner and he was welcoming and friendly. There was a decent selection of high quality Western and work boots. I happily left with a new pair of boots (that he conditioned for me on the spot) and some leather conditioner to keep them in good shape. I also picked up a nice pair of gloves that I was admiring at checkout. I highly recommend stopping here if you're in the market for new boots. Great quality for a great price!

The clerk locked the door because she said they were closing. It was my plan to pay for the shirts but the clerk would not let me in. Finally my daughter unlocked the door, put back the adult shirts she was going to buy. The clerk let me pay for the shirts for the young girls. Once out, my daughter told me the clerk told her I could not come in, that they were closed. I only got in because my daughter unlocked the door. I don't believe it is appropriate to lock young customers in your store. In fact it may be against the law. Whatever the law or policy of this store, I'll not shop there again. Rudeness beyond my comprehension. This all took place in a matter of minutes. The girls were not in the store other than to pick out their shirt. Seems business is kinda slow and you missed at least $50.00 in sales.
