See Orlando Better Business Bureau reviews before you lose your $$$ or your mind dealing with this sketchy bunch. Every one of their stores near Orlando is rated "F". Choose one star only because it's required to submit the review, otherwise it would be negative stars. Our original Mattress purchased on 3/13 was much harder than the demo. model that we tried in the store. We requested a softer (higher $$$) mattress in accordance with their "Comfort Guarantee", however, the warehouse in Orlando had just been closed due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Subsequently the store itself closed for over a month. When it reopened in late May, we again requested the softer mattress, and were told that there were 2 coming to the warehouse and we would get one of them delivered the following Monday. Waited all day, but no mattress was delivered as promised. Since then, we have been given several additional delivery promise dates, waited each time, and still no mattress has been delivered. Nor did we receive any calls to let us know the deliveries were not happening. We did some research and discovered that Mattress One filed for Chapter 11 protection in April and strongly suspect that suppliers are withholding shipment pending payment. We have repeatedly E-mailed their customer service dept. and have not yet received a reply. We called their customer service phone # 1-800-991-7996, and received the following message. "We are closed". (really!) Got the same message at Orlando Corp. Headquarters, Ph. # 407-240-3061. We sent letters, certified mail to Mattress One (Orlando Fl.) seeking resolution, Have not yet received a reply. The District Manager finally did call once, and promised to escalate our issue, then call us "right back". (That was two weeks ago, not a word from him since). On 7/25; I visited the store to determine the status of our issue. The store manager checked the computer and stated that the mattress could be delivered Thursday 7/30. I informed him this was their last chance. He also stated that the "customer service" phone line would re-open Monday 7/27. Based on past performance, we are not holding our breath on either. Update: 8/5/20 no mattress nor refund yet. read more
