    Big Waste of Time! I called this place because I needed somewhere local to go to for decompression…read moreof my 4 herniated discs. Currently I do decompression in the city. Let me start by saying when you call most chiropractic offices (from experience) they take your insurance information over the phone, they then verify your insurance and then call you back so that before making your fist appointment you know what you are/aren't covered for. This place refused to do that and insisted I go in for a free evaluation first. I agreed and I drove 30 minutes to the office address listed on their website which is 2071 Merrick Road in Merrick. When I arrived the office was empty and when I called them they informed me they moved their office to a location in Hempstead. Already I was inconvenienced since they hadn't bothered to initially give me new address over the phone . Nevertheless I decided to drive to their new location and I completed the evaluation with Dr. Nersesov. But of course I couldn't receive any kind of treatment on my first visit because the insurance had yet to be verified. He informed me decompression wasn't covered but that he would check my benefits and let me know my coverage. As mentioned I receive decompression treatments in the city so I was optimistic they would bill my insurance for it. In any event they asked me to make another appointment for following week and I did based on the assumption that by my next appointment they would call me to let me know what is/isn't covered. After a few days I called them to ask what the insurance had told them about my coverages. The receptionist stated she couldn't give me that information over the phone but stated I was covered for "some stuff" and she insisted I come back to go over coverages with the doctor. Against my better judgement I went back since she did say I was covered for "some stuff." When I sat down with Dr. Nersesov again he informed I am only covered for unlimited chiropractic adjustments and not decompression. However he couldn't even give me an adjustment on this my second visit either because he hadn't requested pre-approval. I explained to him how I had been inconvenienced yet again and he stated he couldn't help me. Three trips to Spine Care Club including to the wrong office and 30 miles of driving and all I'm left with is, sorry we can't help you. I admit it's not their fault decompression isn't covered but they should have said so over the phone from the beginning. Dr. Nersesov was also not apologetic for the inconveniences they put me through with all the driving and the wrong address listed on their web page.
