In March 2024 Lucy was in the back yard on her cable dog run when a neighbor's dog entered the back yard and mauled Lucy badly. I'm 15 miles away but made it there in 20 minutes. The staff was so kind and comforting. I knew Lucy was in good hands right away. Lucy had to stay with them a few days and had several follow-up visits but she is finally well. Many, many thanks to Viking Hospital for being there in Lucy's time of need. Attention animal lovers!!! Pet care in Haughton !!!! I don't…read moregive reviews or opinions on businesses very often but this one I will scream out loud everywhere. Do not go to pet care animal Hospital in Haughton. They gave me three different price estimates for the same operation ranging from $800-$1000. I set the appointment for the surgery and we had almost 2 months to prepare. I showed up this morning and it is like they had no clue what was going on. After all this time, they just now asked for shot records and vaccines that they could have already asked for or acquired from my previous veterinarian. They chose to wait until the day of the operation to make sure it was OK. After stating I would go home and get the estimates that they were unaware that they had given and the vaccine records that they decided they were not going to look for, they then decided I needed to leave and not come back because they didn't do their job. So I highly recommend no one using this establishment if they care about their wallet and their family friend.

This felt very threatening and honestly quite scary. - Service: Aural hematoma surgery and boarding for my Great Dane - Total paid: $2,250.70 - Key issues: * Surgery failed -- hematoma recurred under their care. * Boarded in 3×5 kennel; tech admitted on the last day that kennel was too small and was the cause of the recurrence. * No post procedure pain meds or antibiotics until requested; outside vet confirmed they were medically needed. * Charged for flea meds on his last day, when he was current on Bravetco and had a seresto collar; charged for an e‑collar that was not not provided. * Dog returned with paw sores from kennels and improper hematoma bandaging causing re‑bleeding. * Dr. Colvin emotionally berated me when I arrived to pick up requested antibiotics and pain meds - I attempted resolution privately; no response was received.
