She worked / charged me over $20,000 for 28 months of work. In all of that time I spoke to her for less than 90 minutes and had no email communication from / with her. She was simply not interested in seeking any of my input or doing the work to get the "other side of the story." Her recommendations to the court regarding my contact with my children were totally ignored by the judge. The judge ruled directly opposite of what Ms Ciesla robustly recommended. In my 30 year professional career I have met very few people with less objectivety and such low integrity. Do your yourself (and your family) a favor and run, do not walk away from having anything to do with Kathryn Ciesla.

She was way better that those amazoniams! Also, I happened to receive a motion to withdraw from someone else case. I wonder who has my "confidential files". They should be fined. Also I had never received an invoice or bill to date... so I requested one. The one I received on oct 4 was completely wrong. How could I be charged for my attny to drive to court for 2 days? the 13th and 14th of September! Did she Come from Florida? The bill also had charges with JLW which JLW did not submit. They make up charges~ They now claim I have no right to appeal the bill bc It has been 30 days. I emailed them asking to explain... no reply yet

In a span of a week, without us changing anything, they were cancelling and rebooking our appt for the same date/time. They were a nonshow to our scheduled appoinment TWICE. We had to call them and finally had a consultation. After the conference call, our consultant informed us they would email us information etc. Nothing arrived within 48 hrs. No confidence. We went with another firm.

Figured it would help streamline things since they handled everything we were going to have to deal with. Unfortunately, the experience was very disappointing. Marty was sorely lacking in communication and follow through. It took a couple of months just to email us a statement of our account to see if there was a balance due or a refund so we could settle up since we had already hired another lawyer. He did end up apologizing and taking responsibility for the poor communication in the email in which he sent the final statement. So I guess that's better than not recognizing it at all. He completed just the initial steps of everything that he agreed to complete from our initial meeting with him and our new lawyer has completed pretty much everything in half the time for a fraction of the price.
