On a very difficult slope in my back yard, they hauled in gravel, build a gorgeous retaining wall and planted numerous azaleas, hydrangeas, rhodedendrons, and evergreen ground cover. In the front yard they removed a 12-15 year old holly tree and replanted azaelas in its place, I would highly recommend them and will use them again.

As it turns out I paid over $4,000.00 for a pumping system that was proven to be undersized and not right for the application. The owner of Mid-Tenn has been very difficult to deal with. Although he replaced the pump, the replacement pump never worked properly. I was never given any operation and maintenance manuals and the owner refused to give me the pump manufacture information. My contract with my builder required a one year warrenty but my builders sub-contrator, Mid-TN ,refused to do any more and would not return my repeated calls for help. I finally reached the owner and told him if he did not hlp me I would have to contact the BBB. He told me he did not take well to threats and to never call him again.

We drove all the way to the store only to find the gates locked and no one answered when we called or knocked on the door. Please, please beware of this company. I reached an oral agreement with Greenscapes in the spring…read moreof 2015 to start a major project in August or September. It was one of three quotes and was very competitive. I truly liked that Chris Ortiz, the owner, actually showed up when he said he would and I ultimately decided to give the job to Greenscapes. His punctuality must have been an anomaly because things went downhill very rapidly from there. Chris gave me a start date which came and went with no call from him. Then another start date that came and went with no call from him. Multiple calls did no good and I finally came to my senses and realized how lucky I was that I never gave him a deposit. I am usually a good judge of character but boy did I miss the mark on this one. Had I done a search on reviews, I would have known that Greenscapes had bad reviews from people who experienced the same thing that happened to me. I hope to have the opportunity to run into Chris one of these days in town so I can tell him to his face just how incredibly rude I think he is.
