Had to go to different tailor to have problem fixed. The woman who works there, or the owner, wasn't very nice. I won't be returning.

I phoned and was told to send it back again. That was early May 2024. After many calls to see if it was ready yet, I asked her, "Who does your repairs? I was told she had no one to repair machines, and she was trying to repair them herself, but she has been way too busy. So I had my son pick up my sewing machine for me while I had Med appt across the street( May 2005 ). Over one year later..still not repaired. Noting all the new sewing machines there at Quilting Bee and More...at very high prices...I'm questioning who will fix any of these machines if they are in need of repair. I would be very careful purchasing a machibe at thia shop !

There were gorgeous examples of quilts and quilted wall-hangings, etc. hanging all around the the shop for inspiration. There was lots of fabric to choose from, whether off the bolt or precut into fat quarters, jelly rolls, etc. As well, there were many books, patterns and some neat accessories that I haven't necessarily seen in other quilting shops that I've visited in the Maritimes. For those looking for a deal, I found there were a number of fabrics on sale. The staff were all lovely and there was lots of parking. If you're a quilter visiting PEI and want to make a special memento, they even have Anne of Green Gables fabric for sale! Definitely a shop to check out!

Reservations are required and we were on the wait list before receiving a call that we were in. The space is an old church that has been updated beautifully with a large kitchen, two elevated seating areas and enough space for a table that seats 20. Our dinner started with charcuterie with oysters and littlenecks being shucked by the oyster farmer himself. There is a small bar with bottles of wine, a signature cocktail, beers, and you can do pairings for the meal. If you order a bottle of wine, the staff will keep it cold for you and refill as needed. We met the chef and they did a brief lobster preparation demo and discussed the meal. After meeting our dining partners for the night, we found seats at the table and started with a beautiful salad of local greens and a homemade green goddess dressing. Next, family-style platters with potatoes, carrots, and green beans were brought out followed by huge trays of mussels, lobster, and littleneck clams, and then bowls of local sausage with gravy. The food was over the top fantastic and there was so much to eat. For dessert, there were fresh biscuits, strawberries, and cream. It was a nice light end to such a great dinner. The staff truly care about the experience and make the experience seamless. We even ran into Derrick, the owner, at a local cheese shop the morning of our dinner, and he was excited to meet us and chat with us at dinner. If you enjoy fine dining and meeting new people, this is the perfect experience for you.

You could tell he is really passionate about the food he prepares. The food was interesting and creative and hyper local. There are a limited number of diners which make the experience extra special. I would definitely eat here again.

Artwork by PEI artists Richard Vickerson and Heather Millar are just a part of what you'll find. Non-painting art includes glassworks and jewelry. These aren't basic gold and silver hoops that you'll find in a local mall, but unique pieces that will give you a personal piece that you'll enjoy for years. Prices on the pieces I looked at ranged from $30 to several hundred $, so you should be able to find something in your price range. The woman staffing the store when I was there was knowledgeable about the works and the artists, so your questions will be answered in a friendly way. Great place to make a PEI purchase.

A small amount of fine antique furniture items is also part of the gallery mix.
