Maybe because I'm from a place with actual cheesesteak subs, so I know what a real one should be, but this wasn't it for me. The bread was similar to a subway style and the cheese was just in there, not really melted in the meat. Overall I would not be back. If these were like $8 maybe, but for the price, the quality just fell short.

The sauce wasn't overpowering and was put on very sparingly on the pizza which is a positive. The cheese was very lackluster not really cooked enough to get some nice crisp or pull on the cheese. The worst part was by far the crust. The crust was floppy, doughy, and just undercooked. The crust edge as well was dense doughiness and had no flavor, more salt would be appreciated. You can tell from the picture by how white the crust is that it is undercooked. Crust was way too soft for a NY style pizza. Not a terrible pizza but don't feel a need to go back.

The pastrami sandwich comes on a fresh roll with cheese, grilled onions, plenty of pastrami, and mustard. I usually get it to go so I can add a sliced pickle at home. They offer pickles, but they are whole pickles, which is too much pickle for my sandwich. My Bunzie burger had lots of flavorful beef, not too much Swiss but perfect onion offering. I thoroughly enjoyed my piping hot and delicious Bunzie! We were greeted by Nichole who we assume is at least one of the owners. Since we had the place pretty much to ourselves at 11:15am, we got her full attention. She took a genuine interest in us, was amazing to our 7.5yo son, and gave us the low-down on the history of the 'Bunzy'. There's a lot of family history in what they make, and many of the recipes have been passed down from Nichole's grandma. The second one to greet us was Fritz. Fritz is an adorable old dog. He swung my for a quick hello, then back to his spot. We ordered three Bunzys - I tried the Philly, my kiddo had the cheeseburger, and the wife had the smothered veggie something-or-other... All three were terrific! There's a full bar, live music and such from a small stage in the corner, and an authentic feel that is difficult to pull of well - but they do! This may well be my new long term favorite eatery in the Springs! A must try for a decently priced lunch, dinner, or evening of fun!

Looking at the menu, they looked a bit expensive but my daughter was really craving a Philly so we went and I'm glad she talked me into it. A large sandwich was a little over $15 so it was kind of a sticker shock. I ordered the regular and my daughter ordered one with lettuce, (Don't remember what it was called but I told her that was blasphomy.) Both philly's were awesome. My regular Philly was sublime. Like other reviews have said, that freaking bread they use is awesome. I will definitely go back here if I'm in the area in the future.
