At this Carrefour, which is deceptively deep, I found a great bakery rack with baguettes and amazingly, a tub of taramasalata (a Greek spread made with roe) and some cheese. While it made a huge mess of the hotel room, it was perfectly delicious and satisfying. Wine (some chilled), some produce, canned goods, ready-to-heat foods, juices, meats, cheese, frozen meals. While maybe you couldn't do a full home shop here, you can definitely get enough for your hotel room or your apartment. Prices seemed decent but I wasn't checking that closely. The selection of cold cuts is decent as is the selection of cheese. Cheese, bread, foiegras, wine and quiche. Is there anything more French that this ? Would happily come here again :)

The prices actually aren't that bad, about what you pay at the grocery store, or a bit more for the extra quality but not super premium. You should go here before you go to Carrefour.
