Not bad, but I definitely will not be frequenting this place. To begin with, I am pregnant and plan on breastfeeding. None of the coffees here are decaf, even the espresso drinks. Out of 6 teas, only one was decaf. I ended up getting a hot chocolate with almond milk as they also do not have non fat milk. The drink was beautiful and tasted good, and that is why they are getting three stars rather than two. The thing that really got to me though was that the women's restroom does NOT have a changing table. read more

Another great visit! We each had the Matari signature tea; the flavor was out of this world. We tried two (2) of the cupcake-like desserts, very tasty. I noticed quite a mixed demographic in the establishment. I think that's great that people of all backgrounds are drawn to good coffee, tea and desserts. read more

Love love love matari! We got the adeni chai, the mofawar coffee, turkish coffee, and mocha. All of the drinks were so good! My favorite was the mofawar coffee almost like a spiced coffee. The desserts were as equally amazing. We got the lotus cheesecake which is made with biscoff cookie which is a must-have, I could eat it every day! We also got the coconut basbousa which was yummy as well. The ambience is beautiful with the wall art and pretty seating, such a gorgeous place. The seating is also first come first serve, and we came on a Saturday night so it was definitely a more busy day. Overall, we loved our experience at matari and will be back! read more

Stealing a few stars away due to their hospitality even though the owners did a great job with their place and food. Hope they had spent some time hiring people as well . It was 32 outside we stop by this place to grab a hot coffee and try a few desserts .Super rude and senseless staff !!! Your tiny reserved tables for 5 are not for your Yemenis kings and queens , I'm sure you got them laid for customers . This lady behind the counter wanted us to sit in a cold spot with a new born baby despite of having a couple of tables inside . We do understand the sign reserved and yet chose to sit down as there were no other tables available. Wish she had used a little sense before starting to shout from behind the counter when we are setting down at a table . Absolutely hated the experience! Went in there for a quick break on my birthday!! Wouldn't recommend at all read more

We visited this coffee shop today March 2023 in Canton. It had a nice Ambiance and decor. We were disappointed though with the fact that they were not accommodating with a simple request. We wanted to a make a minor adjustment to the tea blend and we were told we couldn't because it comes premixed, however, you're able to change from dairy to an alternate milk but not omit milk altogether which made no sense. The pastries we ordered were not flavorful at all for the price of $7.00 to $8.00 per piece. For the price, we were expecting it to be much better. Overall, we were very disappointed with this coffee shop and we will not be going back. read more
