I have become increasingly concerned as to the suitability of these premises to deliver Covid vaccine. Several people that have received their vaccine here have all said that their arm was not swabbed with an antiseptic wipe prior to the injection. After the injection, again several people advised staff that they felt unwell, either giddy, sudden headache, nausea or all three. In all instances staff advised them to go and sit in their car for 15 minutes as there is nowhere on the premises for patients to sit for 15 minutes after receiving the vaccine. Parking near the premises is very limited with the majority having to park in side streets necessitating a minimum 5 minute walk to their car. Some patients do not drive and walk to and from the premises. No guidance is given as to what should be done if symptoms persist. As the premises have no provision for patients to sit for 15 minutes following vaccination, and therefore are not meeting NHS and government guidelines for the delivery of Covid vaccine, I do not feel the premises are a suitable venue to deliver the vaccine. Is any health agency actually policing the suitability of venues? read more
