My family has brought their animal-people to Countryside for decades now, and my dad and I have made our puppy the newest Dr. Tripp patient. I haven't encountered a single thing that rubbed me wrong. They care and they prove it through their high standard of dedicated care. I didn't feel like human chattel, either. Dr. Tripp still shares stories about my mom bringing the dogs in; they actually get to know you and your pets. So yes, I can confidently recommend the Countryside team. I've heard their prices are also lower than many in the area but I don't know that firsthand. Good people.

Our black lab had gotten sick quickly so we took him to the vet as one would. He did an exam a 10 year old would do if they were pretending to be a vet. He barely spent anytime with him, prescribed something and made him worse. He had lymphoma and gave him something for his stomach. He did not check or even go near his mouth because he was afraid of him. If you want to be a vet, have a little bravery. He is not a mean dog. He has never hurt anyone in any way. For the first year, everything went well and we really like the facility and veterinarians. However, within the last year or so, every time I need to call for an appointment, no one answers the phone. I never get through to anyone. Last year they told me they were short staffed and apologized. I could understand that. Here we are a year later and I still can't reach anyone any time I need to make an appointment-whether it's for an emergency, sick appointment, or checkup. I have had to call numerous times. If you call and they don't answer, they will send a text message asking the pets name and what is wrong. It will say to text back. I do that and I'm still not acknowledged. I have emailed the veterinarians themselves and never got a response. It's very discouraging because we really do like our pets being seen there. I just am at a loss as to how they even see pets for appointments when you can get anyone to answer back. Not good at all for their patients. It is impossible that a vet facility can be run like this. I'd really love to know how are others making appointments and being seen. Unfortunately, this is making us look into finding another vet.

The vet tech let us know that he did not survive the trauma. She offered a copy of his paw print inked onto a poem. They wrapped him in an insulated blanket that would ensure his fluids did not leak, and then in an additional sheet. She was very kind and very personable. I can't call him a doctor - because of the way he treated her and abandoned her, when she needed help the most! First - Keller misdiagnosed my Xena, he let her live with cancer for 5+ years while she was in his care. He was explaining the growing lumps on her body as normal: fat tissue, build up tissue due to her aging (in his words).. etc. Second - when she started growing lumps in the breast area, a surgery needed to be performed. He recommended removing only one lump on her breast - because the rest of the lumps were "nothing to worry about" ,as he said. I insisted 3 biggest ones to be removed! The biopsy showed all 3 were cancerous tumors! After taking Xena to an oncologist, report showed that all the lumps on her body were cancerous tumors (at least 5 more). The report also showed that the surgery performed by Joseph Keller - was not done properly and needed to be redone!! All of these reports were sent to Mellett Animal Hospital. After that, when I tried to contact them - they were rude and were constantly lying to me that Keller will return my call. He never did call back! They just stop all communication, without a single word of explanation. They just dropped a cancer patient, because Joseph Keller couldn't face me - after all he did to Xena! My Xena would have died from cancer, if I didn't take her to a different Vet Clinic!! Stay away from this place!!!!!
