I asked around at work if anyone could recommend me a massage therapist that was skilled in Cranial sacral work. Linda came highly recommended! Linda is a an amazing and talented massage therapist who also has cultivated her gifts to heal with energy as well. It is a rare gift that I am so grateful that she shares with others. She doesn't just massage you, she uses energy to realigned your body in a way that you will the effects from days after a treatment with her. After my first session with her I actually cried because I felt so wonderful and could feel my body healing.(and that's only the 4th time I have ever cried in my life out of sheer happiness!) I felt more like my true self than I have in years. She is so positive and caring and you can feel it. Whenever she found a part of my body that was tense or needed some work, she would put her hand there and have me do some gentle stretches and suddenly I can feel the pain draining away. It literally feels like sludge being drained from my body, leaving me a feeling of being cleansed and rejuvenated mentally and emotionally. When she touched my head it felt like her fingers reached into my brain and released the tension within that was causing my migraines. A massage session with Linda is more than just a massage it's an experience of healing and rejuvenation that goes above and beyond anything I have ever experienced before. Thank you Linda for helping me heal with your wonderful gift of healing! Looking forward to my next treatment with Linda

I've had chronic lower back pain, have the worst posture ever and have been working long nights for awhile now and it's been building up and resulting in a ton of stress and tension, stiffness and overall fatigue. I've had massages before and nothing really worked at loosening up the tension in my back for longer than a day. Linda doesn't provide typical massages--she genuinely figures out your personal aches and pains and focuses her work in your problem areas. She is exceptional at diagnosing exactly where my problem areas were and even better at explaining what's going on in your body which made the experience a lot better than just your typical massage. I was able to learn a lot about how my habits affect my general well being. It goes without saying that a 30 minute session with her relaxed and rejuvenated me. I felt great and will definitely be back!! Thanks Linda!

The Police Station is just a couple doors down in Adelaide St. The prices are extremely reasonable, and the massages themselves are just heaven! The rooms are divided by regular walls but curtain doors. Any noise made in the other rooms or hallway can easily be heard, but they're good about keeping a quiet and relaxing atmosphere. The music they play isn't too loud but absolutely lovely! So relaxing! Prices are very reasonable as well; $119 AUD or $89 USD for the 90min massages. Love this place and intend on coming back!

I'm writing this review for my husband as he doesn't have a Yelp Account…read more Booking for Bodi Balance is really simple - go to their website, pick the service you want, pay and receive confirmation. My husband had a 60 minute deep tissue massage with Tim. He said it was the best massage he has ever had. It was executed perfectly and all his aches and pains were gone. Tim was thoughtful and asked lots of questions and made sure frequently if he was ok. He definitely plans on going back. His recommendation was so good that I might just make a booking myself! He told me to give them 5 out of 5!

If you have never experienced a tunia Chinese massage, you're missing out. But be prepared to be…read morepoked and prodded. Traditionally tunia massage consists of acupressure and massage techniques that aim to directly influence the flow of Qi (or Chi, your life source) and treats the whole body, mind and spirit, while allowing the body to heal itself naturally. Blocked Qi = sluggish body. This is all theoretical of course as no one can prove that your Qi actually exists, but I do feel a whole lot better (albeit a little bruised) after one of these massages. There is no skin contact in this massage as the therapists place a sheet between their limber fingers and your clothing. So no undressing either, yay! Prices range from $20 and up, and you can choose between areas you would like to get treated: head and shoulders, full back, scalp, reflexology....the list goes on. The treatment times for each area varies as well, from an express 15 minute neck and shoulder to a full hour of unparalleled bliss and poking. And unblocked Qi of course. The staff here are friendly and leave you to get your bliss on, only to be interrupted once with a gentle, 'is the pressure okay?' For the price and the treatments I really rate this place highly. I feel great after one of their massages and like the unintrusive nature of the technique. However if you don't like the idea of being massaged in a fishbowl (it's a glass shop front), you may want to skip this. But I say toughen up buttercup, because it's well worth it.

NRCHI offers easy to use online booking for appointments on their website. As convenient as this is, I have not generally found it easy to book on a last-minute type basis. They are pretty upfront about this policy as they do not wish to offend anyone.

This is exactly what happened this weekend and I have no regrets. For $25 I happily settled on a 20min neck and shoulder massage. It isn't a day spa so don't expect a lot of frills and the staff are still friendly (or so I found). I was led to the massage table and lay down before a few cloths were placed over me. There's no oils (unless you've selected that option) or unrobing so it's a quick starting point. My masseuse started working on the knots in my shoulder and all my tension started melting. It wasn't long before I was a relaxed heap on the massage table. She was very understanding and responsive when I mentioned the pressure on my neck at one point was too hard. Yes, you are in a shopping centre and there is the sounds of people passing by. To be honest, though, it all kind of blurs into white noise and with a little focus it's not a detractor from the massage. 24 hours on and my neck and shoulders feel looser than they have in a long time, and at $25 a pop it's something I can easily consider on a weekly basis! They don't currently have private health rebates on the spot but we were told that they will in a month or so.

This is really a no-frills service. If you're doing a foot massage, the masseuse wipes off the massage cream with kitchen paper towels. The water used for soaking feet is plain, no herbs or scent added. The cream used is also no frills. No fancy towels or beds. Their beds are solid wood laid with checked sheets. BUT, having said all that, the techniques are top-notch. I've been to other massage places within the mall where I have to remember the name of a good masseuse if I come across because I get different results each time with different people. However at Happy Foot, no matter who I get, I'm guaranteed of absolute relaxation and relieved knots. The staff seem very diligent everytime I visit - they don't stare out and watch the shoppers pass by when massaging their clients, as other massage shops do. They focus on getting the right pressure and results. They may glance out now and then, but that's perfectly fine - don't we all get distracted at work? What I REALLY like is their face piece. As someone with a small head, I either get the oval impressions on my forehead with regular facepieces or just feel very very uncomfortable when the edges of the facepiece presses against different parts of my face. At Happy Foot, they use a spongy, faux leather bound face piece support so that your face doesn't just hang down against the face piece. Besides supporting my face, it also has a 'cheek piece' so that the weight of my face is evenly distributed. Love it! I've gone there a few times now and have enjoyed every session.

With a modern yet traditionally inspired Thai interior and aesthetically pleasing decor this place promotes relaxation from the moment you walk in. I recommend Chi-Link when you need some quick massage / reflexology to work out a kink or a bit of pain. I do not recommend Chi-Link for relaxation massage.
