Oops. Scoured the interwebs for a sports masseur/se after suffering for a couple days. Someone who could successfully put me in more pain than I already was, via a deep tissue massage. You know the kind that hurts so good? Enter Rasmus at God-Krop. Not only did he rearrange his schedule on the same day I needed him (very likely taking a shorter lunch break in order to make it happen), but seriously, best massage I've had in Copenhagen (and I've been looking for two years!). Rasmus has excellent energy, and is gentle and clearly knows the body well. He provides feedback about how to avoid injuries in the future, and gives you tips on areas of your body that could use more focus in order to build muscle and support the type of training you do. He takes his time, focusing on each muscle group, and after a 60 minute treatment you feel like one million dollars. He has several other employees doing various types of massages out of his ground floor office around the corner from Dronning Louises Bro. Some are very strong and great for deep tissue massages, some are more gentle and are best for the spa/relaxation variety. Call him, tell him what you're looking for, and ask for suggestions. I will go back as often as my budget affords. 550kr per hour, and unfortunately he's not part of any private insurance network.
